I’m thrilled that Andi asked me to be on her ABCs feature on the week of my birthday (and the week before hers, heehee)! I do enjoy shopping quite a bit (and consider my birthday month the month of buying myself presents), so I’m happy to be able to share some of the things that I’ve fallen in love with recently (and might wind up purchasing before the month is out)!
Accessory: Okay, I’ve seriously been obsessed with the Kate Spade Cobble Hill Little Minka for ages! I love the shape of the bag, and the black would obviously work well with most of my wardrobe. I’ve been putting it off for ages, but if everything goes according to my plans, I might have it in my hands by the end of the month! {Link}
Book: I recently read the entire Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor, and loved it. Her writing is exquisite, her descriptions vivid, and her characters were wonderfully complex with strengths and flaws. I fell hard for her series! While the US hardcovers are bright and feature masks, I’m actually partial to the UK covers. Look how pretty Daughter of Smoke and Bone looks! {Link}
Clothing: I’m a dress girl, through and through. When I spotted the Just Be Cosmic Dress, I did quite the happy dance! It’s got pretty shades of blue and purple, and there are stars on it. [Little tidbit about me: I’m obsessed with anything that has to do with stars or the sky.] {Link}

OKAY i love that dress so hard <3 and i haven’t read Daughter of Smoke and Bone yet but everyone loves it so 'm going to have to read it then!
Not sure I could pull off that dress, but it’s definitely cute! I’m a huge fan of Kate Spade, too!! And I agree, the UK cover for that book is much better.
I love that dress! I’m not a dress wearing person, but I think I’d make an exception for that one. And it fits really well with the bag and book too! I like the US cover for Dreams of Gods and Monsters, but the UK version for Daughter of Smoke and Bone is my favorite.
Kate Spade is my mom’s achilles heel, which is a good thing for me since she sometimes buys me random gifts from there. 😛 Love both the bag and the dress! Thanks for sharing, A!
Great job Alexa…I’m loving your choices! I actually think you’re the one who introduced me to DoSaB and I definitely prefer the UK covers as well. So pretty! That dress is adorable and would look amazing on you!
