Valentines to Love

Posted February 12, 2015 by Andi in General / 7 Comments

Okay so this post was supposed to be up and ready to go for you earlier this morning. Yup, that didn’t happen. Right now I am living in the snowy tundra that used to be the city of Boston. We have had approximately 70 inches of snow dropped on us in 17 days. I wish I was joking. I’m not. And the best part is that we have 1-2 more feet forecast for this weekend with winter only partially over. I mean this is my front yard right now.

So yup, this is my life.

But snow or no snow, here is my ode to the perfect book couples around.

  1. All of these that I’ve read, I LOVE! I need to read ACOTAR and LOOP soon! I’m embarrassed that I’ve never read the Hundred Oaks series. But I’ve got to make that happen! LOVE that Anna is still your favorite ever. Oh and I’ve never heard of LOVE LIFTS! I’ll have to look that up. I wish I could spend all my time reading! I have sooo many books to get to and sooo little time!

  2. This post is lovely šŸ™‚

Obviously Lola and Cricket hold a special place in my heart but I’m also fond of Francesca and Will from Saving Francesca, Jessamin and Finn from Illusions of Fate and almost any couple from a Diana Wynne Jones book.

  3. Ahh I need to read so many of these! And I haven’t heard of Love Lifts! I love adding good romances to my TBR šŸ˜€ I do love Roblet, Cath and Levi, Reagan and Matt, and OF COURSE Anna and St. Clair. Eeeep. The ultimate! I’d also add Julia and Jason from Meant to Be, Lainey and Micah from The Art of Lainey, Georgia and Dave the Laugh from the Georgia Nicolson series, and Jamie and Claire from Outlander. Love your couples list, so much fun!

And sorry about the snow šŸ™ That’s such a bummer. Looks pretty but I can’t imagine how annoying it must be.

  4. Such perfect choices for romance, Andi! Honestly, if I tried to narrow down my list of favorite romances, it would still be pages and pages and pages long. I’m a sucker for a good love story – which is how I ended up with so many. Apart from the few you’ve mentioned that I love, I love: Scarlet + Wolf, Cress + Thorne, Cinder + Kai (Lunar Chronicles), Laura + Almanzo (Little House), Anne + Gilbert (Anne of Green Gables), Chaol + Celaena (Throne of Glass), Lara Jean + Peter K (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Hector + Elisa (Fire and Thorns), Daniel + Eleanor (Something Strange and Deadly), Titus + Iolanthe (The Burning Sky), Sybella + Beast (Dark Triumph), Sam + Ana (Incarnate), Red + Sorcha (Daughter of the Forest)… And that’s not even half. Enjoyed your post!
