Welcome to The ABCs where you can see what accessory, book and clothing item others are lusting after! If you would like more information or would like to sign-up you can click HERE. I’ve also created a place for authors to sign-up and do the ABCs for one of their main characters. Check that out HERE.

Today we have Rachel from Beauty and the Bookshelf sharing with us the accessories, books and clothing items she is lusting after.

Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Rachel!

Accessory: Peter Pan & Tiger Lily Carry-All Pouch
I don’t know actually know what I’d use a carry-all pouch for (bullet journal stuff? new makeup bag? to hold all my bookish feels and tears?), but I just think they look so cool. My problem is that I don’t know what design I’d pick–can’t I just have them all?–but I totally forgot about this design I found on Society6 a bit ago and I think it’s quite lovely. It’s my ship on a pouch (unless the story calls for Tiger Lily to be with Hook, then that’s the ship).

Books: Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
I’m not just lusting over this book–I want it so bad I’m about to start drooling. Wintersong has a selling point that’s very, very appealing to me, and it happens to be something I’ve been yearning for from a book: it’s a Labyrinth retelling. And it’s YA but was originally sold as Adult, so it has some crossover appeal (*waggles eyebrows*). I get Jones’s newsletter and read some of her blog posts, and oh my gosh. I’ve read bits of Wintersong through those and the writing and story and everything is so good I could cry. I really, really need this book, and I hope it falls into my hands soon, lest someone end up in the Bog of Eternal Stench.

Clothes: Black and Red Lustrous Rose Flare Dress
I’ll be completely honest when I say I’m not big on clothes shopping. For starters, I’m cheap. It’s more than five dollars I scoff at the price. If I’m spending money on clothes they’re probably related to something bookish or Disney (my mother refuses to buy me anything with something Disney on it, how rude). Or I tend to buy clothes that are black, because black is my favorite color that’s not even technically a color, and, well, I really don’t have anymore room for clothes. But graduation is in less than two weeks (*insert expletives here*), and I would like a new and fancy dress to wear that no one will see under my gown. So I browsed the web looking for dresses, and while I’m not sure this will work for graduation, I want. this. dress. (And also this one because I can’t pick.)
