dawnIt is finally here, the day I leave from my cruise from Boston to Bermuda. This thing has poolbeen planned so long honestly never thought it was going to get here! I’m super excited as this is my first cruise and my first time in Bermuda. Can’t wait to suck up some sun and Norwegian-Dawn-Stateroomenjoy the pool deck with some nice frosty beverages and to sit on the balcony and read my book. We’ll be on the boat for a few days before hitting Bermuda which I think will be great. We’ll be able to get ourselves acclimated with all the amenities the ship has to offer whether it is any of the restaurants, the pool/whirl pool, the spa or the casino to name a few.

We’ll be in Bermuda for two and a half days. We thought about what we would want to do whitehorseand decided we definitely didn’t want to waste our short time there with a structured tour. Instead I requested a map from Bermuda Tourism and we have relied on word of mouth from others as to where we should go. Seems both the White swizzleinnHorse, a bar/restaurant owned by a Yankees and Red Sox fan, is a big hit and the ever famous Swizzle Inn where we are to try a Rum Swizzle, the national drink of Bermuda. I have no swizzleidea what it is, but it looks delicious and that is enough for me. Since we will be in Bermuda for my mom’s birthday we may actually go to the Swizzle Inn for that. But that is up to her. We are going to the steak house on the boat for my birthday. And then back on the high seas until we’re back in Boston a few days later.

Rest assured ABCers, you will not be lacking in posts. I have you all set up for a week worth of awesomeness(well I think its’ awesome!) Try not to miss me too much. I’ll be back live and in person to interact with you soon. Till then ADIOS!
