I love how you set all this up – I’ve never thought of using example books like this. Reply Thanks Kayla. I was trying to come up with something different and it came to me. 🙂 Reply I’ve apparently totally blocked out the animal killing in DELIRIUM. That’s a turn-off for me, and yet I love that book. Reply It was a brief scene when Lena was trying to get to the house after a raid and saw her neighbors dog in the trash. I still shudder thinking of it. Reply I really like how you did your TTT this week! You and I also have some similar topics on our list – and I am totally with you on the creepy family (especially in that book!) My TTT is here. Reply Seriously I still shake my head thinking about the creepiness in that book. It wasn’t at all what I expected. Reply Love the book graphics! Gotta agree with you on absurd situations! Obviously books need some drama and STUFF goin down– but sometimes it is just, like you said… ABSURD. haha Reply Exactly! Drama I can take and I get, but there doesn’t have to be ridiculousness. Thanks for stopping by and the compliment. Reply I love what you’ve done with your list this week 🙂 Very effective and I agree with a lot of them! Reply It is a lot more work but I figured I would try something different. Glad it is well received and that you like the list. Thanks for visiting. Reply Great list! I can’t stand horrible friends–like, why are you friends with that person? SAY GOODBYE. And I like how you did this; it’s cool! Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for the giveaway! Rachel @ Beauty and the Bookshelf Reply You are welcome for the stop by and the giveaway. Gotta share my love. 🙂 But yeah, a bad BFF is painful sometimes. The MC could be the worst person in the world but if the BFF is annoying then it will make no difference. Reply I LOVE how you did your list, it’s so pretty. I agree with your list as well, especially the bad best friends. I’ve read a couple books recently with that and it just makes me facepalm. Thanks for stopping by my TTT. 🙂 Reply Awe, thanks. I loved the finished product and I’m thrilled others do too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Reply Such cute graphics!!! Wasn’t Invincible Summer the worst??? The blurb was so misleading. I thought it was going to be about a guy that has a thing for a girl. That part of it was so minute compared to everything else. And both brothers hooking up with the same girl? ICK! Sorry that book just fires me up. I also can’t stand super naive girls or the absurd situations. Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares had both LOL! Thanks for stopping by My TTT 🙂 Reply Great list! Totally agree with “Too much going on with nothing happening” and the plot of Monument 14. Everything was just chaos in that book but nothing was REALLY happening! Reply Ah! Awful best friends! I never understood that. If someone treats you like crap, why would you spend time with them?! I never understood that! Reply I don’t understand it so much I wrote that sentence twice. It’s been a long day. 🙂 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *Comment Name * Email * Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
