This is my second Liebster Award nomination in the last two months. I was first nominated by Kayla at The Thousand Lives for a book version of this award and now I have been nominated by Katie at Classic With a Twist for a style version. I want to thank Katie for nominating me. The Liebster Award was created to recognize + gain exposure for new blogs that have less than 200 followers which I kind of fall over that mark with over 200 followers, but these are our rules so we can change things up some. Thanks again Katie. Make sure you all go and check out her blog. She is a JCrew addict much like myself. In fact it is what brought us together on Twitter. 🙂

Rules ::
1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link them back.
2. Answer the eleven questions that the blogger who nominated you gave.

3. Nominate eleven bloggers who have under 200 followers and give them eleven different questions to answer.

Questions for my nominees ::

  1. Describe your style in three words.
    1) Casual
    2) Put together
    3) Comfortable
  2. What is your best piece of advice for those thinking of starting a blog?
    Write about what you love. That’s as simple as it can get. If you write about things you love and things you find interesting you will find blogging to be fun and not something you have to do.
  3. Do you have a shopping budget? If so, how do you stick to it?
    No, no budget persay. I just know what I can afford to spend and try not to go above that. I have been known to go into JCrew Factory with a budget and blowing that completely, so I try just to have a ball park figure in my head and not kick myself if I go over it. Sometimes you just can’t pass up a sale.
  4. What is your favorite book?

    annadeliriumtwenty  divergent pivot
    summeralteredfangirlprogram what

    This is a LOADED question for me. HA. If you haven’t noticed, I love all the books. What I think I’ll say are my top 10 so I can share the love.

    1) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – I need not say more then Etienne St. Clair. {review}
    2) Delirium by Lauren Oliver – A world with no love is a fascinating place to imagine. {review}
    3) Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler – A beautiful story of moving on after losing your first love. {review}
    4) Divergent by Veronica Roth – Tris and Four, Four and Tris. Enough said. {review}
    5) Pivot Point by Kasie West – A clever take on parallel lives(which I’m in love with). {review}
    6) Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson – Ugly cry fantastic. {review}
    7) Altered by Jennifer Rush – The most underrated book to come out this year by far. Bourne Identity
    for YA readers. {review}
    8) Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell – Great story about finding out who you are your first year of college. {review}
    9) The Program by Suzanne Young – A great story about young love and government conspiracies. {review}
    10) What Happens Next by Colleen Clayton – Corey Livingston may be the most perfect boy ever! {review}

  5. What is your favorite trend for fall?
    I’m loving all of the herringbone and houndstooth that seems to be popping up all over the place. Such a classic print/texture. It’s nice to see it make a splash once again.
  6. Who are your top three favorite bloggers?
    1) Bows and Sequins
    2) Classic Noise
    3) And my nominators blog, Classic with a Twist
  7. Where do you like to shop?
    JCrew, JCrew Factory, Gap, Old Navy, H & M, Target… should I keep going?! 🙂
  8. One item in your closet you can’t live without . . .
    My denim jacket. I currently have two in my closet. One I have had since 2002 and I love it to pieces. It came from the Gap and it was a college graduation gift. My newer one is from Old Navy and I love to wear them with just about anything.
  9. What are your hobbies outside of blogging?
    I’m not a huge hobby kind of person. I occasionally scrap book(I’ve been such a slacker with this one and I owe some people one or two still) and I’m a TV watcher. But basically, as you can tell from my blog, I’m a massive reader. That is my main love right now and has been for a few years.
  10. One random fact about yourself . . .
    One random fact…I can’t swim. I never learned when I was little and I’m too scared to attempt to learn now.
  11. Why did you start your blog?
    I was writing book reviews at my friend Michelle’s blog Galleysmith. She went on a hiatus and some over bloggers I know told me I should try to do my own. Since I had recently gotten into reading fashion blogs I started to think about what I would do for a blog. When the title Andi’s ABCs came into my head and I thought about combining all the things I love, my blogging life was started.

I’m not nominating so much as a shout out to the following 4 blogs. Don’t feel pressured to accept and answer the questions. Just wanted to share the love. I found these lovely blogs by linking up to Friday’s Fancies.
Always, Abby
Birdie to Be
Cornflake Dreams
Happily Ever Parker

My questions:
1) What is the one item you pick first and then decide the rest of your outfit around? Shoes, bag, color, print?
2) What is your favorite season for fashion?
3) What is the one item that you purchased for an amazing discount?
4) If money wasn’t an issue, what is the one bag you would want in your closet and why that bag?
5) Let’s talk nails. How often do you do your nails? Do you do them yourself or get them done at a salon?
6) What is your go to nail polish color? Are you a sparkle person or do you like satin finishes? Bright or muted colors?
7) Flats or heels?
8) What is your go to/favorite pair of shoes?
9) Name the one book you suggest to people and why?
10) What is your dream vacation spot?
11) If you could have any job in the world what would it be and why?

Thanks again to Katie. Make sure you check out her blog.
