Back on October 23rd I asked who would be interested in taking part in a Holiday Book Swap. After looking over poll results and comments on both the blog and twitter it seems like a good number of you ABCers are down with sharing a book during the holiday season. So here is your chance to sign up and what you will need to do to take part.
Please fill out the bellow form with all the information requested of you. Sign-ups will run from today, October 31st, until November 15th at 11:59 PM EST. Once the sign-up period is over I will match people up randomly and will contact each person with the information given to me from their match partner. Emails will be sent out November 16th to the 23rd. Once you receive your email with your partner’s details you will have until December 6th to order or send a book of your choosing to your swapping buddy. If you have a blog and decide to write a post on the book you have received, please make sure you let me know when the blog post is posted. If you do not have a blog, or would rather not write a blog post, you can use Instagram and tag me @andiabcs or Twitter @andiabcs. Also please use the hashtag #andiabcersbookswap when using Twitter or Instagram. If you have any questions about any of this feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Okay, now on to what to send. It is simple. Send what you love, what you want to read, what you think everyone should read. Use the guidelines you receive from your swap partner and pick based off that. There is no guarantee that someone won’t get a book they have already read or already own and that is the chance you take with signing up for a swap like this. (Personal note: I got my 3rd copy of Anna and the French Kiss by doing a book swap. :-)) Basically have fun and either buy a brand new book or send a book to someone from your shelf that is almost new condition. It’s really that easy.
So please fill out the survey bellow, but only do it if you are 100% sure you can participate. This is only fun if you stick to your commitment and do what you promise. Now get to signing-up and sharing with others ABCers. The more the merrier. Sadly this is US Only. After seeing how this one goes the next could be international.
