I’m terrible at redesigning things. Basically the worst in the world. So I kind put my own twist on this week. Instead of wishing I could redesign something myself I decided to showcase cover redesigns that I am indeed a fan of. Whether it is between a foreign version and the American version or hardcover to paperback, these 10 books are the books that I love one cover more than the other.
Anna and the French Kiss/Parallel/The Town/Graceling/Saving June/Beautiful Disaster/Lock & Key/The Name of the Star/Delirium/The Hunger Games

I agree with all of your picks with the exception of Delirium – not a fan of the face, at all. I actually prefer the original ARC version (weird head tilt and all) over the final design. And Name of the Star – both covers are kind of blah for me. I also like the UK covers of the Graceling series…one of these days I will own a set of them. 🙂

What’s even happening in that first Beautiful Disaster cover?! Gross. Very interesting picks. I personally liked the original Delirium cover a lot more than the new ones.
I like your twist! Some of these are a great improvement, and some I like both versions. Thanks for stopping by!

I’m with you. I actually really like the redesigns of Stephanie Perkins’ novels. They look more professional. Walking Disaster is also better with the upgrade, but I have to disagree about Delirium. I prefer the original. Great list, Andi!

Like the twist. I agree with some of these. But I do prefer the other covers for The Hunger Games – like the UK one better and Delirium, the original works better for me. Great list. My TTT.
That UK Parallel cover is so odd. I really like the American one (and the book!). And that original Beautiful Disaster cover, ugh, I had never seen it before but just saw it on someone else’s blog and it is truly terrible Why would someone think that was a good idea?
I love the redesigns of the Sarah Dessen books. They are SO pretty!! I really hate that Beautiful Disaster cover with the mouth! ICK! But that book offends me anyhow so an ugly cover might not be so bad for it LOL. Also I’m a fan of the original Delirium. That blue color is pretty and it stands out.
Thanks for stopping by My TTT
I like some of the Sarah Dessen redesigns, but not too many. I think Lock and Key is one that I do support though 🙂 And you already know that I only caved for Anna because of the new cover 😉 As far as The Hunger Games, I really don’t like the UK versions. I passed up a paperback of Mockingjay at the used book store because it was the UK version and I can’t stand the clashing colors on it!
