Top Ten Tuesday – Books to Be Read Come Winter

For winter reading I’ve decided to try and read books I have been putting off, books from Edelweiss, and lent ARCs, oh and a 7th re-read of Anna which I’ll be doing with Jamie from The Perpetual Page Turner. What will you be reading this winter?

  1. Ah, Edelweiss + Harper Collins = happy bloggers! Great picks, Andi! I admit, I’m totally jealous about What I Thought Was True. I would LOVE to have a copy of that because it’s been far too long since My Life Next Door! I think I may have to join in with the Anna re-read to get ready for Isla. Can’t wait!

    1. A friend lent me her copy of What I Thought Was True. I plan to read it after I finish Into the Still Blue. And you should totally re-read Anna. That book gives me all the feels!

  2. Oh, I love the Book Thief so much!! Will this be your first time reading it or is it a re-read? I just finished Scarlet a few days ago & thought it was really good. I hope you enjoy reading these!

    1. It will be my first time reading it. I have had it on my radar but never really thought to actually read it. I bought it recently and plan to finally tackle it this winter.

    1. I’m just not as cool as all of you. 😀 Seriously though I know how you feel about The Book Thief. I bought because of your bullying. I will read it this winter. I promise.

  3. Nice touch with the mugs 😉 I should really get to The Book Thief myself. I’ve been trying so hard to prioritize books I own that the books I would get from a library have really been low on the list.

  4. The Book Thief is on my to-read list too. I think I’m going to do one of those personal challenges to read a certain number of books during 2014. Better get to making a list! – Katy

  5. Cute graphics with the covers on the mugs! I think most of the new books you’ve listed are on my TBR list, too. I really enjoyed Not a Drop to Drink. It took me by surprise when I read it and ended up being one of my favorite reads of 2013.

  6. Can’t wait to see what you think of Scarlet! Let me know when you read it so we can start it together 😀 And I don’t know what What I Thought Was True is about, but the cover is so beautiful. *grabby hands* I need it for my shelves!

  7. Eeeep you have a copy of What I Thought Was True? You are so lucky Andi, I will of course be stalking your review on Goodreads as usual! I’ve heard some brilliant things about Faking Normal and Not a Drop to Drink, so I can’t wait to get started on both books. I hope you enjoy reading Anna again, I really need to make the time to squeeze this book in somewhere too! Happy reading and thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  8. Not a Drop to Drink is one of my favorite reads of the year. It’s a scarily realistic story of surviving in a harsh and grim world, with fully drawn characters. Definitely a must read!
LOVE the covers on the mugs! 🙂

  9. I think that your list is one of my favorites this week. I could pretty much just gush about almost every title. I’m putting off reading Tease and Don’t Call Me Baby because I feel like I have relish them before diving in. Actually…I feel like that about almost on the titles that I haven’t read yet that are on your list.

  10. I’m excited to read Cinder soon and then I’ll have Scarlet to be excited for too =) What I thought was true is another that I’m looking forward to reading!

  11. There are so many fantastic books on your TBR! I just know that you will have a fabulous winter reading these. I can’t wait to read Tease, What I Thought was True, Faking Normal, and The Book Thief. Not a Drop to Drink is a really gritty post-apocalyptic story that stands out from the rest, in my opinion. Anna and the French Kiss is a contemporary that I read over and over because it is really cute but with a layer of depth to it as well. I thought Scarlet was better than Cinder and it introduced some fun, new characters to the series.

I hope you enjoy all of your books! I can’t hear what you think of a lot of them.
