Top Ten Tuesday – New to Me Authors in 2013

Posted December 17, 2013 by Andi in Top 10 Tuesday / 0 Comments

A read a lot of authors that ended up being new to me this year. Some just because they were debut authors but others because I seemed to have missed them on my radar. I know the debut author is kind of cheating a little since they were new to everyone, but my list,  my rules. For the record, the top 4 are the debut guys. 🙂

  1. Andi I’m so glad to see that we share so many great authors that we read this year. Cashore, Kirby, Terrill and Miller all made it to my list too, these books were definitely some of my favourites of the year. I also can’t wait to pick up books by West and Young, I’ve only heard amazing things about their work. Brilliant list! 🙂

  2. You have so many authors here that I need to get familiar with, like Kasie West, Rainbow Rowell and Jessi Kirby! I also can’t wait to read All Our Yesterdays! 🙂

  3. Ahhhhhh, I reeeeeally need to read Altered!!! It’s been on my TBR for what seems like forever. And I almost put Cristin Terrill on my list too – AOY was so incredibly good.

  4. Maggie

I can’t believe I forgot about Kasie West. And Lauren Miller is a great choice, too. I’m excited to see what her next book is like.

  5. I left strong hints for my mother that I wanted All Our Yesterdays for Christmas… Hopefully I’ll be reading it soon 😉 And we both know how I feel about Jennifer Rush’s books! And Suzanne Young’s. And Mafi’s. Ugh this list is every single book you’ve made me read.

I want to read some Kirby in 2014 – I’ve heard nothing but praise for Golden.
