Jolly Vox Box – Review

Posted December 21, 2013 by Andi in Vox Box Review / 0 Comments

I signed up for a fun online service called Influenster back in October. Influenster is a social media like site where you review products and books and great things in general. After you get some points and some time has passed you become eligible to receive one of their famous Vox Boxes. Vox Boxes are boxes shipped to your house free of charge that contain either a variety of brands or just one brand that you may or may not have heard of. After you receive your box you blog/review it and get to keep all  the fabulous stuff sent. If you are interested in signing up and finding out more, check it out here.

Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled when I got an email telling me I was selected to receive my first Vox Box. It was like an added Christmas bonus.

There were a variety of great products in The Jolly Vox Box(seen above). Some of the stuff will be of use to me, some of use to someone else. But all in all it was a nice little treat to get in the mail.

skinnycow tissuesducktape

(L)Skinny Cow Candy: Retail $3.99/box – My mom was beyond thrilled when she saw these and quickly grabbed them before I could even get them out of the Vox Box. I grabbed them back quickly to take some photos, but that is basically the last I saw of these. Apparently she loves all things Skinny Cow and these kind of made her day. She told me they wear addictive so there’s that.

(C)Puffs Ultra Soft & Strong To Go Tissues: Retails $.49/single pack – These are all sorts of perfect for this time of year. Easy to throw in the purse on the way out the door and there is lotion in them so they don’t dry out your nose when you use too many(you all know what I’m talking about here!). Definitely the highlight of the box for me.

(R) Ducklings Mini Rolls Ducktape: Retail $2-$3 a roll – This was absolutely adorable. I’ve been a fan of the fancy ducktape since it came out but never had a need to buy it. I got a kind of tie dye like print. Although I wish I had gotten a different one, I will definitely find some way for this to be used. It’s all sorts of awesome.

liplaquer eyeshadow

(L)Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer: Retail $5.49-$5.99 – This is one of the products that is going to be passed on to a friend of mine. I’m a creature of habit and I have one, well two, lipsticks that I use and never really stray from. She however is a lip product junkie and was gladly willing to accept said item when I offered it up. Win/Win if you ask me.

(R)NYC HD Color Trio Eye Shadow: Retail $2.99 – This color palette is gorgeous. That was the first thought I had when I saw this. It is a great set of neutrals that most skin tones should be able to wear. And the colors are perfect for layering. Again I will be passing this on to a friend who loves all make-up, but it really is gorgeous to look at and I think will be fantastic to wear.

So there you have it, my review of my very first Vox Box. Now tell me, what do you think? Anything that interests you and you may be buying in the future?
