I read some really fantastic books this year but I must admit that it was easy or me to decide on 8 of these 10 books as I was just completely blown away by some and they stayed with me all year. What fantastic books did you read in 2013?
Allegiant/Pivot Point/The Program/Altered/All Our Yesterdays/Jellicoe Road/Parallel/Fangirl/Splintered/Where the Stars Still Shine
I also read some really great books in 2013 that won’t be out until 2014. I couldn’t add them to the top as I wanted to stick with 2013 books for this post, but I have to give the top 8 an honorable mention shout out. You will want to read these in 2014. I promise you that much!
The Treatment/Split Second/Maybe One Day/The Edge of Falling/Erased/Bright Before Sunrise/#scandal/Breathe, Annie, Breathe

Cute trophies and plaques! I can’t wait to read #scandal!! I’m so jealous! Sarah Ockler is amazing. I have Where the Stars Still Shine and cant wait to start it! And of course Fangirl was my fav of 2013. SO GOOD!!!

So many of these are on my TBR list! I love how you did your list this week. Super cute! Happy New Year!
My Top Ten Tuesday
I’ve actually seen Jellicoe Road on quite a few lists and that makes me happy. MELINA MARCHETTA!
I really enjoyed Parallel, but I would have to place it on the “second tier” of parallel lives novels, behind Pivot Point. I loved Where the Stars Still Shine, too. I’ve read a few contemporaries this year that heaped on the misery to a ridiculous extent, but WTSSS managed to avoid that.

Yep and yep to The Program and Altered – such amazing books and I wish more people were talking about them!
I still haven’t read any of the others, but at least I have All Our Yesterdays now!

I’ve been wanting to read Splintered – I’m a huge Alice in Wonderland fan and I’m glad it was a top ten pick for you this year! That makes me excited to read it.
Great list. You’ve got some really amazing books on your list. I really need to read some Rainbow Rowell, have heard nothing but amazing things about her books. I just got Jellicoe Road and Pivot Point for Christmas and I can’t wait to be able to finally read those. Great picks! Happy New Year 🙂 My TTT.
Great list! I’ve just finished Divergent last year, and still have to read Insurgent and Allegiant, but I’m really looking forward to them! 🙂 Thanks for dropping by my TTT! 🙂
