I thought about today’s Top Ten Tuesday for a while. I mean I could have dug deep and procured a list of 10 names of popular authors I have never read. It wouldn’t have been that difficult really. But the more I thought about it the more I realized there was only one that needed to be on this list because who am I kidding, this one person is all anyone is going to see, so what’s the point. HA. And that one author is…
And there you have it, I have never read a JK Rowling book and am a Harry Potter virgin and as of the moment plan to keep it that way.
So tell me, who is on your list of popular unread authors? Anyone as big as mine?

Hilarious. Do what you need to do, but man these books are good. 🙂
You are seriously missing out!! You need to try this one ASAP!!
My TTT is here.
I feel like I missed out on something big when these books were being published. I’ve read books 1-3 in the series, and plan to keep reading, but haven’t made it a priority lately.
I haven’t read The Hunger Games… so I feel you, HP is amazing though 🙂

LOL! I laughed when I saw this, Andi! I’m not going to try and convince you to read HP, as I’m sure you’ve gotten that a lot, but I DO hope you decide to pick them up someday. 😉
“Plan to keep it that way”?? Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.
This is probably taboo of me to say, but I often wonder if I had found HP as an adult (instead of as a pre-teen), if I would have enjoyed the series as much as I did. I grew alongside Harry, Ron and Hermoine – we were really close in age. When I try to pick up Philosopher’s Stone now, all I can see is how…young it sounds.
It’s also one of my favourite thing about the series – the writing grows darker, the older the characters get.
