I’m a ballet flat lover. I can’t help it. I find them so interesting and adorable. There are just so many options that it is hard not to be a fan. I mean when I’m stuck wearing closed toe shoes it is most likely, at least 95% of the time, an adorable ballet flat. I have suede ones and leathers ones and patent leather ones and mohair ones. I have prints and solids. I have round toe and pointy toe. Basically my ballet flat collection can cover just about any option I come up with. But with that said, it was missing one thing and it was a pair I couldn’t get out of my head. It was missing a pair of Tieks.

What are Tieks you ask? Well they are amazing ballet flats that are made with Italian leather, are comfortable and the fold up in your purse. Basically everything a girl needs and more! I came across them sometime last year and I have been eying them ever since. But there were a couple of small problems. One, you can only order them online so sizing is important. Sure they do free returns and exchanges on unworn merchandise, but who wants to deal with that. And the other, what color to get. There are some serious color options and it was not easy. But after some time thinking about it and my friend buying a pair, I finally made up my mind and decided to get a pair I think I will get the most wear out of based on the colors I wear most. And without further ado, introducing my Tieks.

As you can see, I went with the fuchsia Tieks in the long run. It was narrowed down to green, black, silver or fuchsia and after much deliberation and input from family, friends and readers, I realized that the pink were my best bet as most of my wardrobe will go perfectly well with them. I have had them for about a week now and have worn them for about 5 days of the 7 they have been in my closet and I can with 100% satisfaction say I am completely happy with my decision. The fit was fabulous and true to size for me. I haven’t had any pain wearing them nor have I had any places were they rub awkwardly against my skin. The color is just gorgeous and just what I was hoping for. And the leather is so soft. I have yet to really travel with them so I haven’t folded them up much, but when I have it was each and there was no problems wearing them after. Basically I’m giving Tieks an A+ and I’m already thinking of what color I may want for my birthday come August.

So what do you think ABCers? Looking to get a pair of Tieks in your closet? What color would you pick? Share in the comments below.

*Tieks were purchased by me with my own money. This is not a sponsored post and is based solely on my opinion on the product I ordered.

Super cute–and what adorable packaging. I never wear ballet flats though because they fall off my heels or otherwise don’t fit my wide feet so I’d be afraid to try these.

  2. I have been eyeing Tieks For Ev Er but the price has kept me at arms length. I love the color you chose…I mean come on it’s PINK! It’s good to know they are true to size so if by chance someone wants to surprise me with a pair they know…LOL Do they come half or only whole sizes?

    • They don’t run in half sizes, only whole sizes which is what I am so it was perfect. But they do free shipping to and from on returns if they don’t fit. 🙂

  3. These are so cute, and look really comfy for balet flats. I find a lot of flats dig in in awkward places and cut my feet, but these look to have nice soft edges. I will definitely store this idea away for when I have enough money to spend on a high quality pair.

Love my Tieks, I have the yellow and they are beautiful. It was a hard choice, plus the cost is on the higher end, so I gave up Starbucks for awhile!!! Do not cut into or rub my heel because the back is not elastic. They are made of high quality Italian leather that shapes to your foot. Yes I will be getting another pair!!!

Still debating on whether I should be spending so much on a pair of shoes. If I do end up getting the shoes, I am leaning towards either matte black or obsidian black since it’s easier to match with most outfits. They are so expensive though.

Honestly I love mine and find them very worth the money. A friend bought them off my review and she know has more than one pair. It is a hit to the pocketbook though.
