The TBR Tag

tbr-tag

I was tagged by Danielle at Love at First Page to do a post about my TBR book piles. The tag was originally created by Rachel at A Perfection Called Books and Dana from Dana Square as a way for us book nerds to keep our book piles somewhat organized or in my case become somewhat completely overwhelmed.

Goodreads is my life line. I use it to keep track of just about everything in every possible way I can. It makes me feel like I have some control/organization over all the books when obviously I have none, but whatever.

I think it is a mix of both. It’s hard to get around it when you want ALL. THE. BOOKS.

tbr3

Basically I panic myself into a book or I have the fine people at Twitter decide for me. Or on those rare occasions I have one that I really really really can’t wait to read and know that will be my next lucky companion.

tbr4killingmoonThe Killing Moon was added December 14, 2010 and I have in fact owned it since then. OOPS.

orphanqueenAdded The Orphan Queen October 1, 2014 after realizing I hadn’t added it yet.

tbr6

thisisnotI had wanted to read This Is Not a Test really badly but now I’m unsure. I own it, so I’m not giving up yet. Plus that cover is amazingly creepy and beautiful all at once.

tbr7

alonglongI’m not really all that into A Long Long Sleep anymore. Just haven’t gotten myself to remove it yet.

tbr8

twistI just read Loop last month and I’m insane about it. It actually inspired the next two weeks on my blog. But seriously I can’t WAIT for Twist!

ravenEveryone seems to have read The Raven Boys and wants me to read The Raven Boys. I’m holding out until the series is done. Note, I have it on my Kindle already.

shadowShadow and Bone is another one that I own thanks to a gift. I just haven’t gotten around to it. I will though.

tbr11thousandpiecesI have an eGalley of A Thousand Pieces of You and I can’t wait to finally get to read it.

  1. I’m right there with you on The Raven Boys – I still haven’t read this series, but my plan is to finish the first two books by the time the 3rd book is released. We’ll see.
YAY for GR shelves – they are my lifeline too. I don’t know how I would function without them tbh.
