14 Days of Fictional Swooning Blog Hop!

14 Days 0f final

I’m thrilled to be part of the 14 Days of Fictional Swoon Blog Hop hosted by Fic Fare and Swoony Boys. From February 2nd to the 14th, you can jump from blog to blog and find out what makes some of us bloggers swoon. On top of that each blog will have a hidden phrase. When you have this phrase together (the phrases should be clearly marked) you will be able to use it to enter the big group entry at the end. If you want more information about the blog hop, please check out this post HERE.

I swoon a lot when I read certain scenes in some books. I love the hand holding and the flirting and the getting to know your part of stories. That is actually some of my favorites parts of reading. But when I think of one scene that really makes me swoon from a book I have to go to my old trusty favorite, a scene from Anna and the French Kiss. And I’m sure you are all thinking I’m going to say a kissing scene or something like that. But nope. My most swoonworthy book scene is Thanksgiving.

annaquote

anna1The Thanksgiving chapters of Anna and the French Kiss are probably my most favorite scenes in any books. Honestly, nothing romantic really happens, per say. Things are still platonic, no real lines are crossed, but I still love them to pieces. There is something so magically romantic to have Anna and Etienne run around Paris together. There are people around, but the scenes are written in a way that makes it seem like no one exists in the world but the two of them (and Euro Disney dude). It is something you must always remember. I think a lot of it too is the fact that it is so real. They are so uncertain and awkward in parts and I can’t help but swoon.

Another book with swoonworthy scene:
court

I would say more, describe what the book scene is I’m talking about, but I don’t want to ruin it. Just know a scene in A Court of Thorns and Roses makes me swoon so hard. Definite runner up to Anna and Thanksgiving.

  1. I love “the boy next door” and “older brother’s best friend” stories. On the Fence by Kasie West put both of them together and I loved it!! But my forever book boyfriend is Jase Garrett from My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick.

  2. I also swoon over the sweet moments, when they begin to hold hands and realize they like each other. And I love boy or girl next door stories!!

    I LOVE Huntley Fitzpatrick’s romances!

thank you so very much 🙂

  3. I was trying to think of a personality trait that makes me swoon, and the real answer (for book characters, at least) is the boy having been written by Rainbow Rowell!

  4. I swoon over fictional boyfriends! haha can’t resist the males in the story 🙂 Thank you for this amazing chance! 🙂
