Pocket Letter Sign-Up {CLOSED}

As you have all learned I am currently obsessed with planning and decorating my Erin Condren planner.  Ever since I was little I would love stickers and crafts and using my planner to incorporate both and creativity is making me very happy. Because of this I have been watching a lot of “Plan with Me” videos on YouTube which have lead me to my new obsession and one I want you all to get involved in…the Pocket Letter.

What’s a Pocket Letter you may ask? Well my answer would be nine pockets of awesome, but that isn’t very descriptive. How’s this:

Pocket Letters are penpal letters in. pocket format. Basically, you fill all the pockets of a 9 Pocket Page Protector (or similar) and send.

I’m not going to deny that I love getting snail mail. There is something super exciting about something showing up in a mail box/PO Box. When I came across this idea created by Janette Lane I just knew it would be kind of perfect for our book-ish community. We all have some type of creativity bug in us and what better way to get it out then

They are pretty simple to make based off of some YouTube videos. (See HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE if interested. There are a ton more.) All you need is some crafting supplies (pretty paper/card stock, washi, embellishments, stickers…), a 9 pocket baseball card sheet (you can buy 10 for like $5.00 on Amazon or can buy them at Staples, Walmart, probably even Target), and some creativity.

Information:

  1. Fill out the form below by midnight (EST) on 11/3/15. I will then pair you with your partner (you will send to who sends to you to make it easy) This is INTERNATIONAL as it is usually able to be sent with a couple of stamps. I will try to pair by region/country if I can.

  2.  Partner information will be emailed by 11/8/15.

  3. Starting planning your creativity. There are only two requirements for the pockets. One has to included a letter. It doesn’t have to be long, but it should be thoughtful. And two pockets have to be book related. They can be a picture of something connected to the book, a copy of the cover of your person’s favorite book, something having to do with a character. There just have to be 2 book related pockets. You will have 2 weeks to work on your pockets. If you would like to do double sided you are welcome to but it is not required (although it is nice to have a paper backing in each pocket since it is see through).

  4. Mail out your pocket letter by 11/23/15. If you will be late mailing out your letter please contact me and your buddy.

  5. On 11/30/15 I will post a link-up. When you receive your pocket letter please tweet, Instagram, blog, vlog about your Pocket Letter and link-up so we can all see the awesomeness and care that went into these.

  6. If you would like to continue sending pocket letters back and forth with your partner that is up to the two of you. This is my first shot at something like this so I want to see how it goes. If it is a success and people enjoy it I will do it again. Please bare with me though as there may be some kinks that will need to be worked out.

  7. Most importantly have fun and if you sign-up follow through as I don’t want to have to chase people.

    SIGN-UPS ARE CLOSED!
