Welcome to The ABCs where you can see what accessory, book and clothing item others are lusting after! If you would like more information or would like to sign-up you can click HERE. I’ve also created a place for authors to sign-up and do the ABCs for one of their main characters. Check that out HERE.
Today we have Katie from Bookish Illuminations sharing with us the accessories, books and clothing items she is lusting after.
Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Katie!
Accessory: Traveling Translator Bag
This is a tote bag from Mod Cloth, and I thought it would be the perfect accessory for my guest post as it relates to the book I want! And, to be honest, I don’t think I’ll be able to resist this unique bag. Not only do I love the shape and the contrast of the light blue interior with the dark brown, but the design on the front with the air mail envelope is just delightful! Whether I use the bag for carrying my books on the way to work or for a flight to London, I’m in love with this new addition to Mod Cloth.
Book: The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig
Time travels stories have always been my favorites, even from a very young age. Whether it was A Wrinkle in Time or a Choose Your Own Adventure Book, these books that featured time travel drew me in for hours! So it’s no surprise that a book I am extremely excited about and just can’t wait to read is: THE GIRL FROM EVERYWHERE by Heidi Heilig. It’s published in February 2016, so there is not that much longer to wait, but I am intrigued by what I’ve heard so far. The protagonist sails on her father’s time traveling ship—that alone makes me excited! This is Heidi’s debut Young Adult fantasy, and I’m glad she decided to create a series with time travel at its heart.
Note: Katie is really excited for The Mirror King too!
Clothing: Coach Tour Dress in Violet
I love the dresses from Mod Cloth because they are often different from what I find in other shops. I just can’t resist what looks like an extremely comfortable dress that is cute and in one of my favorite colors. I also love those buttons, and think this dress would be perfect for traveling—whether through time or just across the country. I don’t have this dress yet, but based on the reviews from Mod Cloth and what I see, I definitely am putting this one on my clothing wishlist!
