Back in May of 2013 I stumbled upon a site run by Simon & Schuster called Pulseit. Basically Pulseit is a place for anyone that loves YA (Simon & Schuster books specifically) to go to read a weekly free book, excerpts, reviews and more. It’s a free site that anyone can join. Well Pulseit is getting a face lift and a new name and I want to share with all of you the amazingness of the site.
Soon (February 2016) Pulseit will be called:
The awesome people at Simon have been working hard in getting this site up and reader for its readers and not changing the things people loved about Pulseit so the important things will be the same.
For me the best perk to Pulseit was the free weekly read and when Pulseit becomes Riveted that won’t go away. That’s right, you can still read one of Simon’s books for free on your desktop, tablet or smart phone. Seriously guys, this is an amazing perk. Since finding the site I have read 4 books of Pulseit, one being The Program by Suzanne Young. I had wanted to read The Program for a while but with so many books it just kept getting sidetracked and pushed off. But when it was the free read I was compelled to read it and I am so happy I did. It was a fantastic book that I may have missed other wise.
The other thing that will happen when Riveted is launched, there will be more editorial content. There will be A LOT of chatter about books and who doesn’t love some good book chatter?? There will be behind the scenes and quizzes and videos and more.
Also unlike Pulseit, Riveted will have there own social media profiles you will want to follow to help keep up to date by what is going on on the site. Even before the site launches you can follow them on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
It is important for you to know that will need to re-register for the site when Riveted launches as your Pulseit account will not carry over. But really who cares when you will be getting some awesome content and a fabulous free read (which is currently Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson).
If you want to find out more about the change check it out HERE.
See you on Riveted come February!

I was so happy to hear about this! I used to love PulseIt, but saw that it was seeming to get neglected by S&S. I always had tons of problems when I’d try and read a free book and such. But I loved the idea and I’m SO happy that they’re revamping it and making it even more awesome and user friendly! 🙂
They have been working really hard on it for months. It is going to be so fabulous!
So excited for this relaunch! I ended up finding PulseIt after it had already been neglected for a while so I never got to experience it but I’m looking forward to everything they have planned!
Sounds awesome. I will definitely check it out. Thanks for sharing!
