Accessory: Kate Spade Cedar Street Maise
I treated myself to a new Kate Spade when I started my job a couple of years ago. I used to be completely addicted to buying purses and spending WAY too much money on them. Since buying my last purse, I haven’t bought ANY. This is kind of unheard of for me and I’ve been craving a new bag. I have a plain black quilted one, so I’ve been thinking of getting a colorful one for the warmer months. I love the size of this bag and the structured style. I used to be a fan of slouchy purses, but having one that’s a little stiffer makes it easier to find everything.
Book: Summer Days and Summer Nights edited by Stephanie Perkins
When I think of an unreleased book I’m really looking forward to, this is the first one that comes to mind. It makes it even worse that there were copies at ALA and I missed it! (I know Andi feels my pain on that one.) I loved the winter-themed compilation from Stephanie Perkins and the summery vibe of this one is definitely something I’m excited for. I’m a seasonal reader and tend to read a lot of lighter contemporaries, especially if they’re set during summertime, during the warmer months.
Clothes: Friends honor roll tee
Friends is my favorite show, and that’s kind of an understatement. I’ve watched the DVDs so many times that they broke and I had to buy a new boxed set. It’s really my entire life. I’ve been obsessed with these kinds of shirts lately (there’s a cute Friday Night Lights one also in this Etsy shop!) and I’ve wanted this one ever since I spotted it. I have a few shirts from the show (one with the logo and one with Central Perk on the front), but definitely need more. I’ve been good about buying clothes lately, so somehow I haven’t let myself buy this yet!
