What I Love About A Court of Thorns and Roses… It seems like such a simple statement to make. Like the answer should be right there, easy to put down on paper. But the fact is I love so much about the book it is hard to narrow it down (and be coherent about it). You see I fell in love with Sarah Maas’ writing when I read the first 3 books in the Throne of Glass series (1, 2, 3) but  she captured my heart with ACOTAR.

I guess that I what I can say I love the most…Sarah Maas’ fantastic writing.

You can’t really love every aspect of a book if it doesn’t have a solid author behind it and ACOTAR has just that. Sarah brought to life a story I was familiar with (Beauty and the Beast) and merged it with fairy tales and folklore I have never heard of. She gave layers to amazing characters that I have fallen in love with and ones that I love to hate. She brought my imagination to life with the world she created and made me absorb it all (and read the books twice already). From the characters to the settings to the fantasy elements to the fashion, there isn’t one things I can’t say I wasn’t in love with. She brought the story to a level that transcended past the word love and I can’t wait to see what is going to happen in A Court of Mist and Fury (which is 100% coming to Mexico with me so leave me alone at the pool people!).

And speaking of ACOMAF, I have a feeling we will be visiting a certain Night Court in this book. Here are some of the dresses I think Feyre would be wearing:

So what do you love about A Court of Thorns and Roses? What are you most excited for in A Court of Mist and Fury?
