Welcome to The ABCs where you can see what accessory, book and clothing item others are lusting after! If you would like more information or would like to sign-up you can click HERE. I’ve also created a place for authors to sign-up and do the ABCs for one of their main characters. Check that out HERE.
Today we have Stefani from Caught Read Handed sharing with us the accessories, books and clothing items she is lusting after.
Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Stefani!
Accessory: Venetian mask ring
You’ll see as I continue on that I tried to everything with a theme. 🙂 I visited Venice for a few days back in 2013 and fell in love with that city. It’s absolutely beautiful. I brought home two real Venetian masks because I couldn’t choose, but I would love to have this ring to wear during the day (the masks are more wall-ornaments that practical accessories). I love how the mask on this ring wraps around your finger instead of just sitting on top. Plus it’s rose gold so it’ll match most outfits (I’m not super fashion-y so if I’m wrong, tell me). I like being able to wear clothes/accessories that I got in other places or that remind me where I’ve been.
Book: Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
Let me just give you the first part of the summary of Nevernight:
In a land where three suns almost never set, a fledgling killer joins a school of assassins, seeking vengeance against the powers who destroyed her family.
THREE suns. School of assassins. Fledgling killer. Vengeance. What else could I possibly want? I really love the way that Jay Kristoff writes, and I think he’s super hilarious online, so add into that a summary that sounds seriously AWESOME, and I’ve gone completely grabby hands for it.
Clothes: Striped cropped pants
Okay, these don’t look exactly like the pants the character is wearing on the cover. Or, really, at all like them. EXCEPT the stripes. I don’t really wear regular pinstripe pants, but I think these lightweight, loose pants look super comfy and also cool – it gets to over 100 degrees some days in the summer here in Mississippi, so these would be perfect!
