It is no secret that I am currently huge into paper crafts. Pocket letters, card making, flip books, post card making, all my things. But I also used to be into scrapbooking. It’s been a long time since I did one and since I’m not a huge picture taker it isn’t really in my wheelhouse anymore, but I do get inspired for my other crafty projects by it. And it has now inspired me to use it in my book world. I give you the birth of “Scrap A Book”.
I started to think about scrapbooking and how it really about a focus element, whether it be a picture, a patterned paper, a piece of ephemera. You take that one element and you make it shine. It made me wonder how I could do that with a book. Make that book shine with all the little things that make it so great,Ā and I came up with this idea. I don’t know how often I will post these (of if people will even care), but I’m starting off with the book you all know I will start off with.
Without further ado, my first Scrap A Book:
