This topic was too open for me. I had to find a way to narrow it down or my list could have been huge. First I could pick any kind of setting I want. Since I have read some really good realistic contemporaries lately that was the easy part. But narrowing it down I had to just stick with ones that I have read in 2016. Because of this you won’t see some of my favorite all time books, but you will see some new favorites and some books I think just need to be read because they are that real.
The Unexpected Everything – Morgan MatsonThe Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love – Sarvenaz TashAll in Pieces – Suzanne Young (out in November)P.S. I Like You – Kasie West738 Days – Stacey KadeIn Real Life – Jessica LoveViolent Ends – Multiple AuthorsMe Before You – Jojo MoyesThe Distance from A to Z – Natalie BlittDefending Taylor – Miranda Kenneally
What are some of your favorite books that take place in the real world?

Oh nice picks! All totally new to me ones! More of the opposite to real life settings in books! LOL! Though I could argue some of my paranormal reads are real life settings…just with with the added paranormal person! 😉
