And I’m back with another crafty card share. The last time I checked in I showed off some cards and postcards I had made. I didn’t have many cards in that post but I did have some other things to share. This time around I have made mostly cards and one super fun project. Without further ado, my next crafty card share.
I did a card swap on Facebook with a random partner. I must admit this is my favorite of the 3 I sent. Here are the other two:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This card I made for Carrie for her birthday in the beginning of August. I had seen a similar idea when I was shopping (I always look at the cards in TJ Maxx) and did my own version.
After seeing the card I made Danielle, Lauren Miller mentioned she would love to get a card like that in the mail. How could I not deliver? I am after all her biggest fan. And what better to send to a writer??
Mom’s birthday was the day before mine and she has been telling me for months she wanted a Red Sox themed card. Ask and you shall receive. I seriously had some of this stuff in my stash (I used to scrapbook) for years. Spoiler alert: The loved it. And The Red Sox wished her a happy birthday when I shared the photo on Twitter with them.
I also tried my hand at stamping and making a card set. They really aren’t perfect but as a wise friend told me, that is what makes them handmade. These cards will be finding a home soon and then I will be on to my next set (STAY TUNED).
I also did a couple of Pocket Letter swaps on Facebook:
The first was a Flamingo themed one. Like I would ever say no to a Flamingo themed anything. I did make one modification to this before I sent it and I created the middle pocket into a shaker pocket (my first one) but I forgot to take a picture of it. Recipient loved it.
The other Pocket Letter I did was an August Birthday Theme. I used some of my favorite craft lines for this one and I will 100% admit to be obsessed with it. I love everything about this Pocket Letter and I almost wish I went it to myself.
Yet another Facebook swap. This was for Paris themed tags. Duh again that I would say Yes. I may have given a shout out to Anna and the French Kiss in the note I sent the person. 😉
And now my other project. I was watching YouTube videos (as one does) and I came across a video for a “book box”. Um, can you say PERFECT! Anyway, I thought, I can do that, so I did. And I love it. I love it so much that I made one for my Godchild for her high school graduation (her card I made wouldn’t have fit in an envelope).
I seriously am in love with these boxes and I look forward to making more.
So there you have my recent crafts. If you need a card, set of cards or a “book box” for anything, contact me. We’ll talk about price and what you need.
What of the above is your favorite?
