Top Ten Tuesday – Books on my TBR FOREVER

Posted August 23, 2016 by Andi in Top 10 Tuesday / 10 Comments

Let’s face it, this was depressingly hard to narrow down. I have over 400 books on my TBR and a lot of them have been on their for years. I am the victim of what I call “new shiny” where I know I have all these books but I get a new one and it is shiny and pretty and needs to be read. How I narrowed this one down? Books I actually own that have been sitting on my TBR the longest. Truth: I now feel like a failure after narrowing this one down.

What books have been on your TBR the longest making you feel like a failure?

  1. You need to read The Boyfriend List! The whole series (4 books, I think) is SO great and hilarious and actually insightful into anxiety issues in a really helpful way. I named my dog after the main character soooo I clearly love it.

  2. Totally recommend THIS LULLABY, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, and AMELIA ANNE IS DEAD AND GONE. I still need to read some that you’ve featured on the list, too. Great list and happy reading!

  3. OOh nice! The only one here that I (willingly) read was This Lullaby and that was sooooo many years ago! We’re talking way before blogging and before I gave up contemporaries! Sarah Dessen was a favorite though from what I can vaguely recall. Though I can’t really remember this one now…lol! Though I know from the handful of her books I read wayyyy back then, I enjoyed them all! Hope you get around to these soon and enjoy them all!

  4. Definitely read This Lullaby! It’s been a long time since I read it myself (since it was in my pre-blogging days), but I do recall loving it.
