Welcome to The ABCs where you can see what accessory, book and clothing item others are lusting after! If you would like more information or would like to sign-up you can click HERE. I’ve also created a place for authors to sign-up and do the ABCs for one of their main characters. Check that out HERE.
Today on The ABCS we have Kathkeen from Books, TV, and More… Oh MY! showing off her accessory, book and clothing item of choice.
Let’s give Kathleen a warm ABCs welcome!
ACESSORY: Tiffany Titanium Ring
I don’t wear a lot of jewelry, but I love earring studs and simple rings. I’ve coveted this Tiffany’s ring for about 5 years. I fell in love with it after looking at wedding rings for my friend (her boyfriend asked my opinion). I was perusing Tiffany’s “normal” rings when I saw this titanium beauty. I like that it’s unique, simple and “black”. I would love to own this one day.
BOOK: The Last of August
Two of my favorite genres of books are YA Contemporary and Mysteries. When I found out about A Study in Charlotte I was so excited that both genres were combined in a fun and exciting way. I was lucky enough to win a copy from the author herself, Brittany Cavallaro. ASIC is an amazing continuation of the Sherlock Holmes stories. It follows the story of Charlotte Holmes & Jamie Watson (Yes they’re Holmes & Watson’s fourth generation grandchildren!). Well, ASIC was amazing and Brittany’s second book The Last of August is coming out in February of 2017. I want this book so much, that I requested it on EW, which I’ve never done. I just want to dive back into the lives and Charlotte and Jamie and go on another adventure with them.
CLOTHING: Skull & Paisley dress
Clothing isn’t really my forte. I love watching NYC, Paris and London fashion week, but that only started about 7 years ago when I met my friend who does makeup and hair for all the shows. I started by watching the shows she worked, then started finding designers I love. Only negative part is that I’m plus size, so I can never wear anything I see. But that’s why I love stores like Torrid, Lane Bryant & The Avenue (among others). They allow me to have some fashionable pieces in my closet without breaking the bank. I love skulls and the color blue, so when I saw this dress I fell in love with it. I love that it has sleeves too because I really dislike my arms. This dress is just so cute and totally me.
Thanks Kathleen for sharing your ABCs with us!
