I hate when I feel like a black sheep with certain books. There is nothing worse than all of your reading people to fall in love with a book and then you read it and you hate it or are just meh about it. You question what you missed that everyone else loved. But that just shows how not all books are for all people. Anyway, I have been pretty lucky for the most part with being a black sheep. I have 8 books that I came up with for today. Basically I decided this list by the rating being higher than a 4 on Goodreads and I either gave it no stars, 1 star or 2 stars.
Some Boys – 1 star
Safe Haven – 1 star
Winger – 2 stars
Don’t Look Back – 2 stars
I Hunt Killers – 2 stars
Unhinged – 2 stars
All the Bright Places – Couldn’t Rate
On the Island – 1 star
What books were you a black sheep on? Did any surprise you?

I definitely felt like a black sheep with The Storied Life of AJ Fickry. I liked it but it wasn’t life changing for me like it seemed to be for so many others. I feel a little better seeing a Nicholas Sparks book on your list. I’ve tried and tried to like his books but they just don’t work for me. Great list!
I’ve tried Nicholas Spark, but other than the Horse Whisperer that I liked because I’m a horse lover, I agree with 1 or 2 stars for him. I think I gave All the Bright Places the 2 second test, but can’t remember. Too many look-alike covers these days to be sure. Good list.
Some of these are on my tbr but I’ve never read them 🙁 I’m sorry you didn’t like them all that much, it’s always weird when you dislike a book but everyone else loved it! It’s like, what did I miss in this book or what did everyone else see? Nice list though!
Most of these are new to me ones. Though I’ll admit I am one of those people who loved Don’t Look Back. Mostly because I am already too much of a fangirl of Jennifer’s books to find fault with them! LOL! I remembered like Unhinged. On a whole I think I rated the series about a 3.5. It’s cute, not an immediate favorite because that love triangle always aggravated me. Especially with how it was “resolved”.
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

I think I clutched my heart and cried a little when I saw that you gave On The Island 1 star. I have some serious love for that book. But I do get what you mean. I have several where I am so in the minority. Everyone raves about I’ll Give You the Sun. I hated it. To All the Boys I loved Before – nope, didn’t like it at all. So I get it. Black sheep, indeed.
