Today’s Top Ten Tuesday (say that ten times fast) is a Father’s Day freebie. Basically we can do anything that is father related. As always the fab people at The Broke and the Bookish give you some topic suggestions and two of them struck my fancy. With that said, I am going to keep it simple and not give you ten. I am doing my own version today and you are getting Top Two Tuesday.
favorite dads in literature
In a Perfect World – Trish Doller
Probably has the best, hottest dad that I have ever read. Seriously I always am crushing on the adorable main boy in books but this was the first time my crush was on the dad. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Adam, but Casey was just super cool and hot and funny. Did I mention how attracted to him I am?
best father/daughter relationship
Second Chance Summer – Morgan Matson
This book is completely heartbreaking because of the father/daughter relationship in the story. It tore my heart out but I loved it so much. Taylor and her dad have such a real story that I can’t help but love them.
Like I said, simple this time.
What do you think? Have you read either of these books? Do you have any suggestions for me?
*Top Ten Tuesday is brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish
Second Chance Summer broke me. I love that book so, so much.
I just read Second Chance Summer a week ago and man oh man did that book destroy me! That father/daughter relationship was beautiful.
I have yet to read in a perfect world but ahhh second chance summer! I also loved their relationship and also that book broke me.
Nice! These are new to me ones! Glad to see that there are some present and good dads in books!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
