What started as an experiment on finding a reading system that works for me has turned into me once again falling in love with a TBR List. For 8 months in 2019 I created a TBR List and read books off of those lists. Some months I was successful and didn’t deviate and some months I had to add books or take books away. All in all though I really enjoyed having a structured list to go off of so I’m sticking with it in 2020.
I think I did really well in February. I had 12 books on my list and I read 9, one of which I finished on March 1st, but don’t tell anyone. Out of the 9 I really liked 5 so not a bad month at all. And I read a book that has been on my TBR since like 2015, more on that later. All in all I can’t complain, even with the couple of books that were a miss or just eh for me.
In March I have a lot of ARCs on my list with a few older books mixed it. I’m still on my quest to get my Netgalley rating higher and my unread books downloaded from there down. This month I have 7 Netgalley books on my TBR. Fingers crossed I can make some progress without adding too many more.
What do you do for a monthly TBR? Do you stick to a list or wing it? Share in the comments.
You did amazing! I’m excited to read The Boyfriend Project with you. I think I’ll read Chasing Lucky and Girl Gone Viral this month too.
