It’s check-in time for my Netgalley update. Back in January I celebrated my 7 year blog anniversary and introduced a new individual challenge I am taking part in. I had picked 25 books on the Netgalley queue that I planned to read to help my Netgalley feedback ratio. It isn’t as easy as I expected.
I’m not even going to lie, I’m proud of myself. I started with 25 books on my bingo card and I have only 12 left and the year isn’t even half over. Sure 2020 has been a dumpster fire, but I’m taking the joy where I can get it. I have 3 books on my TBR for May from this list and one will give me a Bingo when I read it. My goal is still a coverall and I’m making progress.
I’m also really happy with my other goal, to get my Netgalley percentage up. I’m still aiming for 70-75% and I know that is a reach, but I’m at 63% which is up from last month so I’ll take it. I still have a problem with requesting books when I know I have enough, but I blame that on authors for writing books I want to read. I can’t be perfect.

I’m completely in awe of how organized you are here. I was doing good on Netgalley for awhile buuut 2020 sort of sank my percentage. I swear I’m going to make more of a concerted effort like you are doing! It is a battle.
I am really trying this year! I want to do better and I can’t unless I’m organized by it. I have faith you can do it too!
