Review: The Half-Life of Love – Brianna Bourne

Review: The Half-Life of Love ..

In 2021 I came across a book from a debut author called You and Me at the End of the World. I’m not 100% certain what lead me to that book, it might have been an Instagram post from Stephanie Perkins, but something lead me in that direction. And that book by Brianna Bourne became one of my favorite 2021 reads. And then I read what her 2023 release, The Half-Life of Love, was going to be and I knew I needed that book. Truthfully, I’m not sure my emotions can recover from how good it was! The Half-Life of […]

Review: Remind Me to Hate You Later – Lizzy Mason

Review: Remind Me to Hate You ..

I have known Lizzy Mason for almost as long as I have been blogging so I have been super excited to follow along on her author journey. Since her debut in 2019 I have eagerly awaited every book and Remind Me to Hate You Later was no different. I know this book was pushed back from the original release date but after having read it I also know that it was worth the wait. It was by far the best book Lizzy Mason has ever written. Remind Me to Hate You Later is the story of Jules, the daughter of […]

Monthly TBR – March 2023/February 2023 Wrap-Up

Monthly TBR – March 2023..

It’s hard to believe I started doing these monthly TBR lists in 2019 and they have somehow stuck for this long. I’m not sure why they have become somewhat successful for me, but I’m sticking to it and seeing how it goes in 2023. Well the plus is, I read 4 books in February which is one more than the 3 I read in January. And those 4 were all 4-5 star reads. The negative is that I barely read anything on my TBR list which is sad because I am excited for all of these books. But again I […]

Briefly Romantic (13)

Briefly Romantic (13)

Here are a few brief thoughts on some romance reads: I was a fan of Falon’s debut, Lease on Love so I was really excited to read Just My Type. Second chance romance can be hard for me but Falon hit it out of the park with this one! It was sweet and touching and sexy and just amazing! Seth and Lana had the best chemistry and I didn’t want their story to end. I loved seeing them once again find that connection they had while competing in these challenges assigned to them as some kind of competition. They both […]

Monthly TBR – February 2023/January 2023 Wrap-Up

Monthly TBR – February 2..

It’s hard to believe I started doing these monthly TBR lists in 2019 and they have somehow stuck for this long. I’m not sure why they have become somewhat successful for me, but I’m sticking to it and seeing how it goes in 2023. Safe to say January was not the best of reading months, but it was a quality reading month so I’m calling it a win. Not only did I get to reread Anna but I read 2 other amazing 5 stars books that will be out this year. I’m also 20ish% through another 2023 release and I’m […]
