When I was getting dressed today I was trying to come up with ideas on how to wear the pants I picked out. I love them but I always seem to wear them with the same white shirt. I know there are other ways to wear them, but this is my go to look (and exactly my outfit for today)
I decided I was going to look and come up with a couple of different shirt options and a shoe idea. Not sure how they would look on, and I don’t own any of the shirts, but it was fun to find a few different options.
How would you wear these pants?
About a month or two ago I was sent a link to a tank top and I can’t get the tank out of my head. I want it badly but I also can’t bring myself to pay $52 for a “trendy” item. I’ve been stalking it for months hoping it ends up on discount but so far no luck. When I was trying to come up with an idea for a blog post it hit me…style the tank I have been coveting. So here you go. Four ways I would love to wear the Junk Food Donald Roberston Flamingo Tank.

I think I’m a fan of looks 1 and 2 the most.
What do you think? How would you wear this tank? And more importantly should I buy it?
There is no hiding the fact that I am a huge fan of the New England Patriots. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t really become a massive fan until 2001 when Drew Bledsoe got hurt and a no-name, 6th round draft pick went in and took his place and brought the team to their first Super Bowl win in franchise history. I was hooked after that and have been hooked ever since. Most Sundays from September to hopefully February (if not all) you will find me in front of my TV or checking my phone for scores. It is something I truly love to do. It stresses me out like you wouldn’t imagine but I do truly love watching football.
This past Sunday the New England Patriots won themselves a shot at a 5th Super Bowl title and I’m beyond thrilled. There is nothing quite like your team making it to the “ship”. In honor of that I thought I would throw some Patriots Style looks together to celebrate their chance and hopeful win.
Do you have a game day style? Will you be watching the Super Bowl on February 5th?
I was asked by the fabulous Lindsey, from Bring My Books, if I would do a Style Files post for Vans and I took on the challenge. I admit that Vans are not my personal thing but they do have some really cute and fun pieces. Here are some looks I pulled together with just products from Vans. Hope you approve Lindsey.

It’s been a long time since I did some outfit posts and my aunt reminded me of that and requested more so here is your more.
I decided to just “shop” J Crew for these looks and to do a mix of spring/summer pieces that I loved when I was looking. Now if only I could afford ALL THE THINGS.
I love seeing a stripe mixed with an animal print. It is one of my favorite pattern mix tricks since both are basically considered neutrals. And I am DYING for the shoes. They have been on my wishlist for a long time.
I love a good long sleeve/rolled sleeve look with a pair of shorts. Another go to for me. I actually already have the shirt (thank you J Crew Factory sales) and I have similar shoes so this look will likely making an appearance this summer.
I’m not typically a sneaker girl but I love these. The gold is really what sold me. And I loved the idea of mixing them with a simple graphic t-shirt and a fun canvas bag. And now I really need that bag for the pool when I go to Mexico. Too bad it is sold out. Sigh.
This look was based purely off the sandals which I am OBSESSED with. I love a good stacked heel and I’m so happy they are making a come back.
So there you have it, a new sort of feature bring the C back in to the ABCs.
What store would you like to see me work with next time? Comment and let me know.
