Review: Take Me Home Tonight – Morgan Matson

Review: Take Me Home Tonight &..

I’m not even going to sugarcoat it. Before you read this review you need to know I am a Morgan Matson fangirl. She literally has never written anything that I haven’t loved. (I even reread Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour and upped my rating!!) There is just something about her books that I click with. And that was even more the case with Take Me Home Tonight. And the more I am removed from reading it the more I find myself loving it. It was utter perfection! Take Me Home Tonight is about best friends Kat and Stevie, both theater […]

New to You (20): Jennifer reviews Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson {giveaway}

New to You (20): Jennifer revi..

Welcome to New to You! This idea came along last year when I was supporting Lauren Miller’s newest book All Things New and I asked Kelsey to read and review Parallel, a book I have read more than once. I didn’t really get it going until December when I offered people the chance to sign up to read and review a book that has been a favorite of mine that they have never read. Blog Tour: Save the Date by Morgan Matson {giveaway}

Blog Tour: Save the Date by Mo..

That’s right, for this stop on the tour I am sharing three cards I made for events that usually come with a wedding. What kind of cards did I […]

Review: The Unexpected Everything – Morgan Matson

Review: The Unexpected Everyth..

What can I say about Morgan Matson’s books that I haven’t said before? I was destroyed by Second Chance Summer, enthralled by Since You’ve Been Gone, and wooed by Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour. She’s written herself so high in my list of author’s I love that I don’t think she can get any higher. And then she gives me The Unexpected Everything which made me feel the things I felt in the first 3 books she has written and changes my expectations again. I mean can she do anything wrong? This book was just fantastic. The Unexpected Everything is […]

Second Chance Sunday – Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson

Second Chance Sunday – A..

Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour wasn’t what I expected at all. Going into it I assumed it was going to be a funny, cutesy light story about road trip high jinx. Instead I found a funny, at times, cutesy, story with a lot of depth and heart. The passing of Amy’s father really did a number on her. She was isolated and alone and had turned herself off from the world. She felt a lot of guilt over the accident that took her father from her and she had a lot of fears from that as well. When Roger was […]
