Review: All in Pieces – Suzanne Young

Review: All in Pieces – ..

It isn’t often that you get the privilege of reading a book that wraps you up in the story so much that you actually forget you are reading. Usually when I read I’m aware there is a book in my hand, aware I’m flipping pages on my Kindle, aware that I’m reading fiction. All in Pieces was one of those rare occasions where I forgot I was reading. I forgot that I wasn’t part of the story. I forgot it was fiction. I forgot everything but the beauty of the story Suzanne Young crafted to perfection. I can’t say enough […]

On my Radar: Top TBR Books…and a dream book (2)

On my Radar: Top TBR BooksR..

In July, I had done a post about 6 books (and 1 dream book) that were on my radar that I planned to read. Truthfully I did pretty well. I’m currently reading the 4th book from that list leaving just 2. Not too bad. Since that seemed to help me narrow down the million books I want to read I figured might as well do it again. Because of that I found myself being […]

The Book Push – All in Pieces (Suzanne Young)

The Book Push – All in P..

If you know me you know I love to push books I have on people. If I read it and become obsessed with it I think you need to read it and become obsessed with it too. I’m done this with Lauren Miller’s Parallel, Colleen Clayton’s What Happens Next, Natalie Blitt’s The Distance from A to Z, and more recently Sarvenaz Tash’s The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love. What’s next on my book pushing list? Kind of you to ask. It is actually a little book I finished this weekend that is out in November. No joke when I tell […]

Review: Violent Ends – Shaun David Hutchinson, et al.

Review: Violent Ends – S..

I went through a span recently where I had trouble finding a good book. Everything just felt blah or just okay. I wanted to be wowed but I was scared to read something I was super excited to read. Instead I went on gut instinct and picked a back list book that I had been excited to read. I went with Violent Ends and I’m so happy I just picked it and didn’t over think the selection. It really helped my semi reading slump. I say this a lot but I just don’t know what to really say about Violent […]
