Back Pages: Illuminae – Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

Back Pages: Illuminae – ..

In November I had a small idea for a blog tour called Back Pages. I wanted readers to go back and read those books they has been planning to and never got around to. I had every intention of hosting a legit blog tour for it. Well COVID happened and plans ended up changing while everyone got used to a new sort of normal. So while Back Pages isn’t going to happen has planned, I’m kicking off my new version of the plan with the review of my selected book.   Illuminae was an unexpected reading experience for me. I’m […]

Mini Reviews #2

Mini Reviews #2

I liked this book, I did. I wasn’t crazy in love with it like I had wanted to be after This Song Will Save Your Life, but I liked it. Arden grew a lot in this story. She saw how she wasn’t who she thought she was and that there was more to her than expected. That was the part that I really enjoyed. What Rebecca Serle does in Famous in Love and Truly Madly Famously is show us what is potentially a celebrities side of it and I must admit it got me wondering if this is really what it is like. Truly Madly Famously […]

Blog Tour: The White Rose – Amy Ewing (Giveaway)

Blog Tour: The White Rose R..

Book series worry me. You read the first book and are wowed by the addictiveness, by the story, by the characters. First books are new and different and can easily pull you in. You have the beginning of a romance, the beginning of the story, the beginning of everything. But a first books leads to a second book which can sometimes not live up to the expectations built by book one. Luckily for The White Rose that was not the case. Amy Ewing delivered and delivered it precisely. The White Rose picks up where The Jewel ended. Violet is on […]
