Mini Reviews #14 – Netga..

Here are a few brief thoughts on some Netgalley 4 star reads: In 2020 I fell in love with Sophie Gonzales books and I never turned back. So when I heard that she was writing a book with Cale Dietrich I was excited. And then when I heard that If This Gets Out was a bout a boy band that had two members fall for each other I was hooked! This book ended up being everything I hoped it would be. It was first a great friendship book and a look at the entertainment industry and what it can do […]

Review: The Wedding Ringer – Kerry Rea

Review: The Wedding Ringer ..

I added The Wedding Ringer to my TBR in March of 2021. There was nothing  about the book description that stood out to me, but it seemed like it would be an okay book and something different than what I had been reading at that time. I think I liked the idea of the main character being a former blogger/influence that had lost everything and was trying to make money. Review: Well Matched – Jen DeLuca

Review: Well Matched – J..

When I started Jen DeLuca’s Well Met series in 2019 as a buddy read with a friend I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. Renaissance Faires aren’t really my thing but the book, Well Met, sounded cute enough, and it was, but it wasn’t a favorite. Some of it didn’t work for me. But I did enjoy it enough to want to read book 2, Well Played, and I ended up liking book 2 a whole lot more. So when Well Matched was coming I was excited to see how I would feel about the last companion. Happy to […]

Review: The Love Hypothesis – Ali Hazelwood

Review: The Love Hypothesis &#..

When a book drops that is super hyped I admit I worry. Whether it is a young adult or romance, I get scared the hype will kill my love for the story. It has happened before and I know it will happen again. The hype effect is real and I fear it. So when literally everyone on my Instagram timeline and in stories was talking about The Love Hypothesis I was scared. Was the hype effect ready to strike? Then I got my copy. Safe to as there was no hype effect. Everything people were saying about The Love Hypothesis […]
