Review: The Heart Principle – Helen Hoang

Review: The Heart Principle &#..

In 2018 I fell in love with Helen Hoang and the world of people she created in The Kiss Quotient. I wanted to know everything about every character mentioned. I wanted to know everything I could about Michael’s family. And I got some of that in The Bride Test and Khai’s story. But what I really wanted was Quan’s story. Since the moment he was introduced I wanted to know everything about him. And that is what The Heart Principle is, it is Quan’s story. And I loved everything about it. The Heart Principle Is the story of Quan and […]

Briefly Romantic (8)

First and foremost, How Sweet It Is was a super fun read. It had all of the elements I love in a romance like the quirky meet cute, the misunderstandings, the adorableness. Drake and Kate had such a solid chemistry I yearned for more of them. They played off each other really well and it made reading their story a fun time. I also loved the awkward situations they both kept getting into with the other. It added a fun lightness to their story and was woven in really well with the plot. Review: People We Meet on Vaca..

In 2020 Emily Henry released a little book called Beach Read. I say little book because it blew up. It was everywhere and people loved it and talked it up. I personally found it delightful. It was solid and enjoyable, but I wasn’t at the gush level like everyone else. I mean don’t get me wrong, I really really liked it (I gave it 4 stars and you can read my review HERE) but the definitely not to the level people were talking about it. So going into People We Meet on Vacation I was not sure how I would […]

Review: The Intimacy Experiment – Rosie Danan

Review: The Intimacy Experimen..

Second books by an author are a struggle for me. I always have high expectations after loving the first book and I want to love the second just as much. Sometimes I am lucky and it exceeds my expectations. Other times I am disappointed and I feel like the book just wasn’t as good. For The Intimacy Experiment I’m not sure how I actually feel about it. I read the book months ago and I’m still not sure. The Intimacy Experiment is the story of Naomi, a former adult entertainer now a cofounder of sex-positive start-up company. And when the […]

Review: Act Your Age, Eve Brown – Talia Hibbert

Review: Act Your Age, Eve Brow..

About a year ago I picked up Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert. At the time it seemed like everyone I know was reading the start of this series and loving it. So I jumped on the bandwagon and read it too. I found it adorable and really charming. So when I saw there would be 2 more I was even more excited. By the time I read Take a Hint, Dani Brown I was in more in love with the Brown sisters and I couldn’t wait to get to the last. I didn’t think I would love […]
