Holiday Pre-Orders: 2019

The holidays are here and with them comes the perfect opportunity to pre-order a book for a friend or your Secret Santa or even yourself. The hard part is narrowing down which books to order. I have been very lucky and have read a variety of books that come out in 2019 already and have a lot more on my shelves waiting for me to get them. Well today I’m here to share with you some of my personal suggestions for those holiday gift pre-orders.

  2. Finale by Stephanie Garber (May 2019)

  2. Virtually Yours by Sarvenaz Tash (June 2019)
  3. The Bride Test by Helen Hoang (May 2019)
  4. The Boy Next Story by Tiffany Schmidtt (May 2019)
  5. Start Here by Trish Doller (August 2019)
  6. Call It What You Want by Brigid Kemmerer (June 2019)
  7. Maybe This Time by Kasie West (July 2019)
  8. Better Than the Best Plan by Lauren Morrill (June 2019)
  9. When Summer Ends by Jessica Pennington (April 2019)
  10. Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith (March 2019)
  11. Meet Cute by Helena Hunting (April 2019)
  12. There’s Something About Sweetie by Sandhya Menon (May 2019)

I don’t know about you but I kind of want all of these like right now! I do have 14 of them pre-ordered though so at least there is that.

What books do you want? Anything on this list strike your fancy?

Top Ten Tuesday – Book-ish Things You Want to Own that Aren’t Books

In all seriousness, there was one answer and one answer alone I wanted to give for this post.

{Excuse me while I wipe up my drool. But would you look at that bottom lip!!}

And then I thought, I can’t own him. He has to play Four and be cute with Shailene in all the interviews. So I settled on just staring at him (maybe for an inappropriately long time) and then got serious. I’m not one for a lot of different book items that aren’t books so I couldn’t think of much that I would want to own. As I thought I kept going to this wishlist that I have in my head and then it came to me. My top ten list for today: Ten authors I would love to meet and/or have them sign one of my books. That’s something that is book-ish without being a book. BAM! See how I did that??!! 🙂 Now I ask of you, who is on your dying to meet wishlist?

Anchor Tights
They are out of stock and I’m sad. I NEED these in my life!

Four of my Pre-Orders
I’m excited about a lot of book that will be out this spring/summer. So much in fact that I have 6 current pre-orders and I may end up with more. I just can’t not have these at my house on release date. I mean I basically need them now.

The Loft – Candy Dot Trench
I saw this coat on the website and swooned IMMEDIATELY. I just love, love, love a classic trench in a classic print. Please go on sale so you can come home with me where you belong!

YA Book Lover’s Wishlist

I was trying to think of some books that I could suggest for people to buy for gifts this holiday season. Honestly I could have gone on and on with this post but I cut it at 20 books/series. Some are pre-orders, some are ones I read years ago and are favorites and some are just books I think everyone should read. By no means is this a complete list and I’m well aware I left some really good ones off, but I just went off the top of my head and this is what came to mind. Now get shopping. I’ve read them all and I find them all fantastic.wishlist2

Monopoly Money Monday

Not gonna lie, this post is getting harder and harder to do and I’m running out of ideas so it may have to go on hiatus for a while unless you have some suggestions for me. But with all that aside I did have one idea left in the artillery. Books! As you know, if you have been reading or paying attention to my Instargram, I am not buying anything in the month of April. No clothes, no nail polish, no books. Which has actually worked out since there are about 25 books that I want that are released in May. With that in mind I decided I would spend my $100 monopoly dollars(seriously, I’ll be spending real money on these at some point as well) and buy the top 8 books for the month.

1) Criminal by Terra Elan McVoy(available 5/7/13): $11.20
2) The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey(available 5/7/13): $11.98
3) How I Lost You by Janet Gurtler(available 4/23/13): $8.99
4) Fifteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton(available 5/7/13): $8.99
5) Golden by Jessi Kirby(available 5/14/13): $11.41
6) The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler(available 5/21/13): $11.46
7) Thousand Words by Jennifer Brown(available 5/21/13): $11.42
8) Wild Awake by Hillary Smith(available 5/28/13): $11.98
9) Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland(available 5/7/13): $11.80

TOTAL: $99.23*
