Mini Reviews #11 – Netgalley Mini Reviews 5.0

Mini Reviews #11 – Netga..

Here are a few brief thoughts on some Netgalley reads: Better Than the Movies was pretty much the book I expected when I started reading it. It was the story of a girl that loves rom-coms and wants her life to play out like one. Ever since her mother passed away she held on to the romantic theory that this was possible and she refused to let it go. And I understood that to a point but it slo pushed the boundaries a little for me because Liz wasn’t always easy to like or connect with. Everything to her was […]

Review: 10 Blind Dates-Ashley Elston

Review: 10 Blind Dates-Ashley ..

I’m usually not one to read holiday books around the holidays. I feel like my life is so inundated with holiday cheer that a book set in that time is just too much. But this past December I decided to read 10 Blind Dates, which takes place around Christmas and New Year’s, after hearing people rave about it. And I have to tell you, it was so ridiculously cute and sweet and charming, I didn’t want it to end. Review: Passenger – Alexandra Bracken

Review: Passenger – Alex..

Passenger has been a high priority read for me for a long time. I’m a huge sucker for time travel books and the mind warp that happens with them. It took me a while because of my timing of reading it during the holidays but in the end I really enjoyed it. Passenger is about Etta, a violinist that lives in modern day 2015 with her mother. […]

Blog Tour: The ABCs with Etta from Passenger by Alexandra Bracken (giveaway)

Blog Tour: The ABCs with Etta ..

Today we have a special edition of The ABCs brought to you by Alexandra Bracken for her character Etta in her new book Passenger (which is out in stores tomorrow!). And make sure you read all the way to the end to enter the giveaway. Alex Bracken: This is so fun! While Nicholas and Etta are equal parts main characters, I have to go with Etta for this one—mostly because Nicholas is way too practical (his answers here would be: a compass, an atlas, and a new pair of leather shoes after fishing Etta out of the ocean). Etta’s a […]
