When I did the ‘One Item. 3 Styles‘ post back on 2/22/13 I mentioned that I had created looks for the other items that received votes and if anyone was interested I would post those looks. I was asked if I could show the rest of the looks I created for the Polka Dot skirt. Being the nice person I am, here they are: Polka Dots and Stripes by andiabcs featuring opaque tights Riding Boot Love by andiabcs featuring baublebar jewelry Pink Peplum by andiabcs featuring platform shoes So there you have it. 3 looks for the polka dot skirt. I asked you all what you wanted me to create with my paper dolls next and although it was close, Brights won by just one vote with dresses in second place. Brights has a different definition for some when it comes to fashion. To me it is anything that can brighten up an outfit whether it be a pastel yellow or a neon pink. Below you will find four colors, 12 outfits, I consider bright. Pink Pink by andiabcs featuring christian dior sunglasses Mint Mint by andiabcs featuring colorful shorts Yellow Yellow by andiabcs featuring j crew Blue Blue by […]
I asked you to pick one of the items above for me to style three ways. It was a very close race and it came down to a one vote difference when all was said and done. And that winning item was…drum roll please…the Heart Sweater! Thanks to all of you that took the time to vote. It was fun hearing what you wanted to see on Twitter and seeing what was the most popular. We will have to play again some time. 🙂 Without further ado, the outfits: In-between Season Love Add Some Sparkle Everything is Better […]
Recently a friend sent me a tweet asking what I thought about polka dots and if they were staying in style. I told her my personal opinion which others have agreed with…polka dots never go out of style. They are a classic and will be around for a long time. Whether you like the minimal look with a polka dotted iPhone case or a bold tight, they will be around for a long long time. This of course got me thinking and I had no choice but to play with my adult version of paper dolls and bring you polka […]
So this week I decided to document the outfits I wore. Now not all of them are exact, but I used the products close enough, in some cases the exact ones, to recreate the look. All the color schemes are the same as are the pieces. The styles are what vary. Looks like I wore a lot of black, gray, white and pink this week which makes sense since that is one of my FAVORITE color combinations. Monday: Tuesday: Wednesday: Thursday: Friday: What did you wear this week? Do you ever find yourself wearing the same color scheme all week?
