It’s been a long time since I did some outfit posts and my aunt reminded me of that and requested more so here is your more.
I decided to just “shop” J Crew for these looks and to do a mix of spring/summer pieces that I loved when I was looking. Now if only I could afford ALL THE THINGS.
I love seeing a stripe mixed with an animal print. It is one of my favorite pattern mix tricks since both are basically considered neutrals. And I am DYING for the shoes. They have been on my wishlist for a long time.
I love a good long sleeve/rolled sleeve look with a pair of shorts. Another go to for me. I actually already have the shirt (thank you J Crew Factory sales) and I have similar shoes so this look will likely making an appearance this summer.
I’m not typically a sneaker girl but I love these. The gold is really what sold me. And I loved the idea of mixing them with a simple graphic t-shirt and a fun canvas bag. And now I really need that bag for the pool when I go to Mexico. Too bad it is sold out. Sigh.
This look was based purely off the sandals which I am OBSESSED with. I love a good stacked heel and I’m so happy they are making a come back.
So there you have it, a new sort of feature bring the C back in to the ABCs.
What store would you like to see me work with next time? Comment and let me know.
My name is Andi and I have a vest obsession. It’s okay. I’m fine with it. I’ve made peace with this obsession and have embraced it. I’ve embraced it so much that I added two of the above just this year. It is now a way of life for me. It all started a few years ago and then got worse with my J Crew love.
Anyway, I like vests and I like styling vests. It is fun to come up with ways to wear them on not so cold days here in Boston. So today I bring you 4 vests I own and 4 looks I love, one for each vest. Some of the pieces in the looks I have, so I just love the idea of. But I promise you this, I will be wearing these vest a lot so I would stay tuned, and by stay tuned I mean follow me on Instagram.
So tell me, how do you wear your vest? Which look do you like the best?

J Crew – Asymmetrical Stone Necklace
I’m a sucker for statement necklaces and I find J Crew’s to be awesome. I only have one from the actual store as they are really expensive, but I would love to be able to add this beauty, real or the inspired by version.
Anna, Lola, Isla Tote Bag (Stephanie’s Cat not included although adorable!)
Ever since I saw this tote I wanted it badly! I have preordered Isla and the Happily Ever After (my second preorder) in hopes that I’m one of the lucky 25 to get it because I NEED IT!
Hunter – Original Clear Smock in Desert White
My Hunter Wellies are the best defense I have against rain and now I want this gem to work as it’s partner. I couldn’t find a good usable picture of the white one, but you get the point with the blue. Isn’t it adorable??!!
Since I had been on a shopping hiatus for the month of May and hadn’t really pulled a new shopping post together in the months before that, I thought I would take the time to show you the recent addition I have made to my closet and my technology love. It isn’t a whole lot, but it is something.
I had been hoping that my Stitch Fix would be my shopping for the month, but that was a pretty big bust (read about it HERE). Instead I found myself upgrading my iPhone 4S to the 5S in gold thanks to some prodding from friends. And of course with that kind of upgrade a new case needed to happen (although I may have bought the case before the phone and have 4 other cases at home that I have had for a month, but SHHH!). I was able to pick up the fun Vera Bradly case at the outlets so it was a fabulous price. Also on that trip I was able to pick up the adorable anchor belt which is 100% similar to the one in the picture. Found it at the Gap and it was less than marked so I scooped that up.
The dresses are more recent additions. I love the stripped one at the Loft when they were having a massive sale on line. It is long so it will need to be hemmed and it may be a tab big in the waist, but it was final sale so I will get the alterations done. The other dress I picked up just last Tuesday at J Crew. It was normally $110 (insane right??!!) and it was on super sale so I got it for less than half off. And before I now need a new external charger for my phone, I got the fun printed one while I was there for under $15.00.
Finally the shoes. Oh how I love all my new shoes. The wedges I bought while I was no shopping in May. But in my defense I had a coupon and a gift card so it was no money out of my pocket. I’m only slightly obsessed with them and have worn them HERE. The ankle wrap ones are a J Crew Factory find. I had purchased them in red a while back and what 100% certain about them. But I wore them HERE for the first time and I was hooked. I love how they look with pants. I decided to see how much they were on line and was able to get them on super sale with another coupon on had so they ending up breaking the bank at a whopping $3.93! SOLD. And last but not least are the newest addition to my Sperry family. I blame Jessica at Bows & Sequins for this purchase and feeding my addiction to all things Sperry.
What have you recently added to your closet?
