Mini Reviews #8 – Netgalley Mini Reviews 2.0

Mini Reviews #8 – Netgal..

I have been trying to read some Netgalley books I have had around on my TBR for a while. In April I shared 3 Netgalley mini reviews and I’m back again with 3 more. I have always been a fan of retellings. I love seeing an author take an older idea and making it their own. It is fun as a reader to have that comfort of something you know but with a twist. When my friend told me about Only Mostly Devastated  and that is was a spin on the musical Grease, I was in. Fast forward to it […]

The book will be off to a great start and then something will happen and it will take away that complete and utter love I had been feeling. The end might feel rushed, the “required” break up might happen too late and the payoff isn’t great. But when everything clicks I walk away feeling so happy and satisfied I can’t help but think about the book for a long time. Tweet Cute […]

ARC August: Check-In

ARC August: Check-In

Not too bad considering I went away for a few days and celebrated both my birthday and my mom’s. Would I have liked to have read more over the last 16 days? Sure. But I’ll take what I can. Here are two mini reviews for what I have read: Stealing Home was a great summer read! It ticked […]

Barely Have the Words (1)

Barely Have the Words (1)

I was looking at some of my 5 star reads, some read almost 3 years ago, that I still need to review. I realized there are some books I love so much I’m not sure I will ever be able to put into words how I really felt about them so welcome to my new feature, Barely Have the Words. I can’t adequately review this books since “READ IT” doesn’t really tell you how it made me feel, but this is my start: It has been months since I read this and I still can’t accurately put my feelings into words. […]
