Character Casting for Altered by Jennifer Rush

So Jennifer Rush, the author of the amazing book Altered(READ IT PEOPLE!!! It is only $4.99 for the Kindle right now and my review will be coming soon!) is doing a giveaway on her blog for an advanced copy of Erased, the sequel to Altered. She is giving readers two opportunities to get a copy of the book before it comes out in January 7, 2014. If you are interested in checking it out, take a look at her blog post HERE.

Basically she has two different ways to win. One, cast the “movie”. When you were reading who did you see playing Nick, Cass, Trev, Sam or even Anna? Cast one, cast all, cast a couple. The other involves fan art. Since I’m not so good with the fan art I figured I would take a stab at the character casting and who I could picture playing some of these characters. I decided to focus on the two that I was the most interested in and that would be Nick and Sam. Now I may get creamed for not taking hair color descriptions and all that jazz into account, but I based my two selections on who I could see in the roles. I also didn’t really take age into account. For instance one pic is close to 40 currently, so I’m going with him if he was his 22 year old self. So keep that in mind.

Alright, alright, enough chatter. On to the picture.

Without further ado, who plays Nick and Sam in the movie of Altered in my mind:

For those of you that read it can’t you just picture Zac Efron doing that quiet, strong Sam part and a younger Leonardo DiCaprio being all bad boy Nick? It makes me smile just thinking about it.

Who would you cast in Altered? Or not even Altered, but any book that you really enjoyed? Do you sometimes have an easier time reading if you picture a celebrity? Now wish me luck on maybe winning this thing because I need a copy of this book and keep your eyes open for a Altered giveaway which will be happening soon. šŸ™‚
