Monopoly Money Monday

Monopoly Money Monday

Yup, it’s that dreaded day of the week…it’s Monday. Why Monday’s are so painful is beyond me, but with Monday also comes a new edition of Monopoly Money Monday (which is getting harder and harder to do by the way!). This weeks $100.00 is going to be spent on earrings. Now I go back and forth a lot when it comes to earrings. I love to own them to wear in theory but I hardly ever find myself actually wearing them. But just because I don’t wear them as often as I could/should doesn’t mean you don’t want to see […]

Tall Style

Tall Style

Like I wouldn’t have done a Tall Style version after doing both Plus Size and Petite Style. Come one now, who do you think I am? HA! Seriously though, tall people I think have it worse then petite people a lot of the time. You can always cut fabric off, but you can never add it on. I have a couple of friends that have problems with this and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of stores that carry Tall sizes. However the one downside is that they are mostly only sold online which can make sizing hard. But […]

Monopoly Money Monday

Monopoly Money Monday

In this edition of Monopoly money Monday I have decided to spend my money on rings thanks to a suggestion from a savvy ABCer. I must admit that although I have quite a few rings(gifts from friends mostly) I tend to stick to the same couple in a rotation. I have my JCrew Anchor ring which is my current staple and my silver Silpada ring with a green mother of pearl. Those are my go to rings, but every now and then I will switch it up. Since that’s the case, I had fun spending my “bucks” on this challenge. […]

Interview Style

Interview Style

A friend has an interview next week and requested I try to pull together some interview wear. Now I must admit it has been 15 years since I had to go on an interview so I am a tad out of practice. But as the HR department at my place of business I styled looks based on what I would personally find acceptable. The main thing really to avoid when it comes to dressing for an interview is trends. You want to remain as classic as possible, but can include some interest like color and pattern and even texture. Just […]

Petite Style

Petite Style

So last week I posted 3 Plus Size Style options based off a request. I had so much fun doing that I decided to do a Petite Style version for my shorty friends(I say that with love since my mom is under 5 feet as are two of my best friends). šŸ™‚ So when looking at petite clothing options I found a few stores that seem to carry their items in a petite option. Old Navy, The Loft, The Gap and Target, to name a few, all had a great selection of items. I tried to pull together a mix […]
