Review: Part of Your World – Abby Jimenez

Review: Part of Your World ..

It is simple as this…Abby Jimenez’s name is on it, I’m going to read it. I fell in love with Abby’s books with her debut The Friend Zone and that love has only grown. For a long time The Happily Ever After Playlist was my favorite Abby book, but after reading Part of Your World, that has changed. With this book Abby has completely outdone herself. The story is perfect, the writing is awesome, and the swoon is hardcore. It was pure perfection. Part of Your World feels like Schitt’s Creek in book form. It’s the story of Alexis, a […]

Here are a few brief thoughts on some Netgalley reads: Dating Dr. Dil was a really fun book. Prem and Rina had vastly different views on relationships and love. Rina believed in love and finding her soulmate while Prem thought love marriage was an illusion that didn’t exist. They were a feisty pair of characters that fought their attraction while standing by their beliefs and I loved that. But I also loves how Rina stood up for herself and what she wanted. Here are a few brief thoughts on some Netgalley reads: I was really looking forward to Mr. Wrong Number. The description seemed so fun and something I would 100% into. It was a brother’s best friend story which is one of my favorite kind of romance tropes. And honestly I was really into about 82% of this story, but that is where the love ended. Don’t get my wrong, the stuff I loved was worth reading, but as a whole it just missed the mark for me. The last 17% just didn’t fit what I had loved in the beginning […]

Review: The Dating Playbook &#..

I read the first book in this series, The Boyfriend Project, in 2020 as a buddy read with a friend. We both enjoyed it but had mixed feelings on how the end was handled. (You can read my thoughts on it HERE). So when I saw The Dating Playbook was the next book I was a little worried. I had no idea if I would feel the same conflicting emotion I did with the first book. But I went in and read it with an open mind. And I can now report that The Dating Playbook was really good! The […]

First and foremost, How Sweet It Is was a super fun read. It had all of the elements I love in a romance like the quirky meet cute, the misunderstandings, the adorableness. Drake and Kate had such a solid chemistry I yearned for more of them. They played off each other really well and it made reading their story a fun time. I also loved the awkward situations they both kept getting into with the other. It added a fun lightness to their story and was woven in really well with the plot. With that said I didn’t love how […]
