Review: The Half-Life of Love – Brianna Bourne

Review: The Half-Life of Love ..

In 2021 I came across a book from a debut author called You and Me at the End of the World. I’m not 100% certain what lead me to that book, it might have been an Instagram post from Stephanie Perkins, but something lead me in that direction. And that book by Brianna Bourne became one of my favorite 2021 reads. And then I read what her 2023 release, The Half-Life of Love, was going to be and I knew I needed that book. Review: One Way or Another – Kara McDowell

Review: One Way or Another ..

There is on if, ands, or buts about it, I am a parallel life book junkie. Tell me your book has a parallel life aspect to it and I am so there for it. Wonder how this will go.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ […]

I had heard such great things about The Forgetting that I knew immediately that I wanted to read it. The concept reminded me (in a small way anyway) of one of my favorite Lifetime movies that starred Keri Russell, pre-Felicity days, called The Lottery.  It by no means has the same concept, but I couldn’t stop thinking about that movie and how they are kind of like half sisters. Anyway, I was really excited for the book and I can report that it mostly lived up to my expectations. I say mostly because I did have one part that just […]

On My Radar: Top TBR Books (3)

Over the summer I did two separate posts (HERE and HERE) about books On my Radar. Sadly I wasn’t that great with my August post, but such is the way of things. Now these I really hope to get done in October/early November, but we shall see: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What are the books on your radar?
