Pulseit Changing to Riveted!

Back in May of 2013 I stumbled upon a site run by Simon & Schuster called Pulseit. Basically Pulseit is a place for anyone that loves YA (Simon & Schuster books specifically) to go to read a weekly free book, excerpts, reviews and more. It’s a free site that anyone can join. Well Pulseit is getting a face lift and a new name and I want to share with all of you the amazingness of the site. Review: Come Back to Me – Mila Gray

Review: Come Back to Me –..

A friend had mentioned Come Back to Me as something that might interest me. After doing so research I agreed. The description is totally a me book. I am 100% a sucker for the girl falling for her brother’s best friend. It is one of my favorite troupes as it can cause so much tension but when it is right it is right. I was also really intrigued by the military aspect as that adds something else to the story since being enlisted is a huge commitment. Basically I had really high hopes for Come Back to Me, and Mila […]

Blog Tour Review: Summer of Chasing Mermaids – Sarah Ockler {giveaway}

Blog Tour Review: Summer of Ch..

  I have been a Sarah Ockler fan since I read Twenty Boy Summer in 2011. Since reading that one my love for her has only grown. But I must confess that I was scared when I read the concept for this story. You see The Little Mermaid is my all-time favorite Disney movie. It has a special place in my heart for reason and I just couldn’t see how it would translate to inspire a book. I mean I knew I would read it because it is a Sarah book, but I was scared that I wouldn’t love it. […]

Basically the perfect example of what all contemporary lovers love in a book. I started it at 7am one day and finished it by 11pm that night even with running out and doing errands. It was that kind of book and I’m so happy to have read it. Magnolia is the story of […]

Review: Dissonance – Erica O’Rourke

Review: Dissonance – Eri..

Truthfully, I have no idea how I feel about Dissonance. In terms of full disclosure, I read this book after I read two books I had been dying for that were fantastic and nothing could live up to that. So I don’t know if my uncertain feelings are because this book was a ‘rebound’ book or if I really wasn’t as in love with it as I hoped I would be. I mean Dissonance wasn’t a bad book, but I didn’t feel like it was a great book either. The story is about Del, a girl that gets to travel […]
