Welcome to the revamped ABCs. In the past I have used this weekly Wednesday post as a link up but times are a changing. I’m switching things up as you have learned HERE.
Today we have Rachel from Hello, Chelly sharing with us the accessories, books and clothes she is lusting after.
Now let’s give a warm ABCers welcome to Rachel!

Accessory: Nicole Swiftness Bootie
Ever since I spotted a co-worker wearing boots like these, I’ve been wanting a pair of my own. I just saw them on DSW and I am so close to purchasing. I love the color, the buckles and the cut-outs. I think they would look great with jeans, a sweater or a t-shirt and cardigan combo (my go-to outfit!). Plus during colder weather, I pretty much live in boots and I don’t have anything quite like this. I am so, so tempted to buy them.
Book: Burned by Karen Marie Moning
The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning is one of my favorite adult urban fantasy series ever! It’s about MacKayla Lane, a small-town southern girl who loves the color pink, shopping and her family. Then her sister is murdered in Ireland and her entire life changes. What begins as a journey for answers quickly turns into a deadly war between The Fae and she’s the only person who can save the world from them. (Doesn’t this make you want to read it ASAP?) Anyway, it initially started off as a 5 book series but the author decided to keep going and Burned is the 7th book. It came out yesterday and I can’t wait to dive back into this world.
Clothing: Lemon Petal Skirt from Anthropologie
I am a sucker for anything yellow and I’ve had my eye on this skirt for a while now. I love the little details like the slight ruffle and the band around the waist. I could see this being easy to dress down with a simple tee and flat sandals or dressing up a pretty top and nude heels.
Thank you Andi for having me on the blog today! It’s always fun to do a little online shopping! Not that I ever need an excuse 🙂

Love the skirt, Rachel – I have a very similar one from Anthropologie – it gets a lot of wear during the summer. Highly recommend! =)
What a fun feature! Books and fashion, such a great combo!
I love the color tone of the choices! That bootie looks super cute! I really love the ruffle on the skirt and the texture of it. I totally want.
I love the overall color scheme of this post! It’s so you, Rachel. Plus, that skirt and those boots are MAJORLY cute. And you’ve reminded me that I need to start reading this series too!
