I am thrilled to be able to take part in Andi’s famous ABCs today. I was a little panicked at first about coming up with items, but I ended up loving my choices. Thanks for putting this together, Andi, and for inspiring us all with your love of shopping and books. And thank you to everyone else who’s gone before me. I always want to buy all the items for myself when I see them.
1) Accessory: Little Love Charmer, double up tiered necklace by Tina Steinberg
I don’t wear much jewelry, and I’m not much of an accessories person in general. I’m pretty sure it goes with my dislike of love triangles, everything streamlined ;). But I love the idea of this necklace so much. What I like is that it is meaningful but also very simple and subtle. I already have one charm with my daughter’s fingerprint, but I need to add one more. My favorite featuring multiple charms is this double-tiered look.
2) Book: The Lumatere Chronicles, Australian edition
Another thing about me is that I don’t generally collect multiple paper versions of books. Once I have a finished copy, I typically get rid of the ARC, if I have one. I will sometimes own different formats of a book – audio, ebook and print – because those are all different reading experiences for me. HOWEVER, as soon as I saw these new Aussie covers of Melina Marchetta’s Lumatere Chronicles, I was desperate to have them. Although I haven’t figured out how to purchase these beauties yet, I’m going to make it happen. Even though I’m highlighting three books, this series is one entity to me so I couldn’t separate it. By the way, the middle book, Froi of the Exiles is my favorite. If you’ve not met Froi yet, you are missing out, because he is one of the best book characters ever and his growth through the series is astounding.
3) Clothing: No Love Triangles Allowed T-shirt byBookiemoji
Of course, I must own this anti love triangle shirt, with the slogan, “Don’t let your love get out of shape.” The idea of bookish emojis is so fun, and I love that Jenna and Crystal created them. If I could claim a spirit emoji, it would be this one for sure. My favorite product with this design is the v-necked t-shirt, but I would also go for a bag, or a mug, or a shower curtain. Though I don’t think my family would appreciate the last one.

I don’t wear necklaces that much but I would wear that! That shirt is great.
I really want those copies of The Lumatere Chronicles, Lauren! They’re absolutely gorgeous, and I need them for my collection! 🙂
